JF and Teresa bought the motherLoad of 240 z's , the ridiculousness of it all was we went to buy 510's and they turned out to be BMW's!! ... however we salvaged 9 old cars and made a really fun day of it , and we have to go back for 2 more loads , so more to come !!

Back then they called all cars that they made em look like racers,but it was all show but no go,racing stripes,wings,body kits ,but that's all.And the term ricer cars came in the vocabulary.😊😊🎉

Those are one of my favorite cars, Datsun 240z. BMW 1600 and 2002 are also really cool.

@@JonStein-mu5eb E 30s were a platform after the 2002, then E21, so from '84-'91. They had several different engines, 2 dr, 4 dr & convertible with a touring(station wagon) in Canada & Europe. I have had three & loved them.

@@JonStein-mu5eb Yes, a couple 318is, 325e. In the 70s the 3.0 CSL (E9) Batmobile are enduring classics.

Wow! That brings up lots of memories. Your Dad and I used to make fiberglass fenders when you were a little boy. Lots of fenders for 240Z Datsun but way, way more for Datsun 510, yep the one in which you were brought home in from the hospital.

When my wife and I were datng way back when, she had a B210 and a F10 both of which other ppl totaled them. I had a Datsun 620 truck. Painted it red. Nice find.

Teresa, I love the Fargo as well and not because I live near Fargo (North Dakota). It has character and could be a really cool hot rod. I would have chosen it over my project truck, a 1952 F6 which I'm building into a pickup and got for free just for hauling it away from a farmer's yard. Better luck convincing your hubby to get one for you next time.

I went here while back and bought a 55 Ford custom and I wish I hadn't about it it's a four-door it's a real solid car but there's no motor and transmission and I paid way too much for the thing gave $5,000 for it and I kick myself everyday for buying it I'm just addicted to that old stuff

I like Datsuns, I've like the 240Z for a long time, like ever since I saw an Opel GT back when I was young, I've liked that body style. I like that 1600, thought it was a Sunbeam at first. Have fun with the rust, next thing you know, you'll be buying a 10 acre lot just for the overflow, just like Mike... Lol

@@killerkustoms this was a car I sold on payments. The girl skipped town after a few months with the car. I still have the title, but heard that she may have registered the car in one of those states that don't require much paperwork and got another title. IF the car is still out there?? I'd like to know and track it down. My local DMV wasn't much help as it was a long time ago and out of the system. Just wondering if there is a way to track the paper trail and see what happened to the car.
