People that love succulents are one of the most generous, I meet a few people and as soon as we find out we both like succulents - they show me their garden and they just give me some cuttings. We have a new neighbour and I basically just said "welcome" and he gave me 7 cuttings of his Crown of Thorns plants. Love it!!

Hey liz I been watchwatching a lot of your videos, i am loving growing my succulents just I am having a bit of a problem with fruit flys does the eco pest oil work on that? It's there a way to make the pest oil?
I think you're referring to "GNATS." I don't use ecopest oil on them. I use a sticky ribbon to catch them. Some use Neem oil but I haven't tried it myself.
The local nurseys in my area don't sell succulents because its subtropical and it rains a lot. I have to get my succulents from Home Depots . Its nice to have a friend that gives you plants. I believe in karma too. If you do good than good will come back to you. You radiate goodness.

Ive been a non-smoker for 30 years; no one i know now would ever believe i had even smoked. I quit, because i wanted to live. I am brand new to succulents. I hope to do as little harm as possible.

By the way my lucky bamboo has survived five years in a glass bowl with marbles and Pebbles, those stupid decorative Pebbles that you buy in a Hallmark store or something and water nothing else! I'm afraid to plant it in soil because I think it will die or they will die I have three of them. I can't wait to see how all those tiny cuttings grow for you. ❤️
When I was in the Philippines, I had a giant fortune plant (that's what we call this over there) in front of the house. It grow so tall that it started to hit the powerlines and so we had to cut it down. The top was full of flowers. Supposed to be lucky when they flower.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK we tried putting it outside late in the summer and it started turning yellow and we've had it so long I just didn't want anything to happen to it so it sits on the counter. I would love for them to flower!

WOW! I'm so envious that you can bring in plants from China. I'm in Canberra, Australia. San Diego have the perfect weather for growing succulents. Much better than Canberra. If the succulents I grow can survive my area, it would be a piece of cake for you in San Diego. In time, you'll have them growing like weeds. Amazing Filipina ka pala at first I thought I ate then sabi ko no she’s Korean but then sabibko no basta Asian sya and I kept on watching u as an avid succulent planter like u now it reveals and was surprise at d end of d video bigla kang nag Tagalog . Doesn’t your bird chew on your plant leaves?? My budgie absolutely decimated my indoor plants by biting little V-shapes off the edges until he got down to stems and vines. It was his greatest pleasure… the little shit. I sure miss him.

The large aichryson looks exactly like an Aeonium of mine......I live in the states. I wonder why my sun grown one like you large plant looks the same as yours indoors. The smaller one gifted to you looks nothing like my sun grown aichryson. Interesting!!!

Hi Liz - great haul!!! A friend of mine from high school just recently had a very bad accident when she fell into a cactus, she had bruises and spines in her arm... 1 in particular she had to have an operation to remove.. she now has stitches from the middle of her palm to half way down to her elbow - about 15 - 20 cm cut. This is one reason I am not getting into Cacti.. I am accident prone lol. (As she is).
0:16 You are standing beside a 2 tiered black planter (with a shallow terra cotta in top tier) Were these made with large funnels or were they store-bought?? I really like them and their construction looks like they would be fairly simple to make. Thanks!

Where are you getting all of this energy!!!???... Love it's!!! What brand coffee, you're drinking? Share with us. Lucky bamboo, they do bring in the zen. Once you put into soil they change colors from light yellow green to dark green. Plants from cutting does that's.

I’m a pushover for Pachypodiums! I bought a sizable P. geayi clump will nine stems about a year ago and planted it in a large raised bed outdoors. Some of the stems have grown over one foot / 30cm ! I think if you pot your’s in a slightly larger pot and give it good sunlight, it might surprise you. If Pachypodiums are happy they do get big.
