Micro scale models are great and the control of these is incredible, I particularly liked the race with the VWs Vans. But all the models are very good and also all the hard work of the background which make it look so real. Thank you for sharing this. 👍

In the 50s and 60s, we used to think HO Trains and Slot Cars were great. Now this comes out, and I'm pumped for the younger generations to get involved.

I love this. Ive done micro cars in past that where full function. But this is a dream. I would be down any day for this kind of stuff. Even though right now, I just do helicopters and rock crawlers.

1/87 was created as HO-scale model trains (HO='Half O' which is 1/48 scale). If you think this stuff is amazing, you should see what's available in trains. The stuff is amazing--and they now have sound systems in them.

Trains have no need of the sophisticated controls some of these have. This is much more amazing than micro trains in my opinion. How does 1/87 scale cars and trucks match 1/48 scale trains though? I tried googling it a bit but can't figure it out. I see 1/87 scale leads straight to HO on trains though.

there are probably plenty of youtubevideos explaining how they are built, majority of them are handbuilt by private people because the 1/87 scale rc plattform hasnt evolved enough yet for commercial use, the VW buses are built by a company but you clearly see they are not very realistic looking and holds more of a toy look

I never seen remote control car's truck's that size without the track they come with. That would be a kids from 6-10 years old a dream toy back in the 1970's. The kids now days is just video game's they wouldn't know how to put something like this together with a 6' sheet of plywood.
