UNBELIEVABLE Mopar Dodge Charger Lot Find! Hemi and 440 Chargers, rare Fast Top and Coronet R/T 

Keep us up to date Lucas, I have two 68 Chargers myself i am restoring, been three years now and still working away. Plus I have a 70 Challenger RT I found cheap to be done at a later date. But wow, a Hemi car? That would be a dream.

Hey Lucas I stumbled on that old body shop a few years ago myself...There was quite a few cars in there with much potential...A couple AMX's that were pretty much toast...But he had a 70 Javelin Mark Donahue Special that looked like it was in running condition...There was also a GTO Judge there at one time, but it was gone the next time I was there...The last time I looked, everything was gone...That was about 6 or 8 months ago

The Charger 500 was a factory air car which makes it really rare. Out of the 392 500's built I think there are only about 20 that had A/C.

It's probably easier to win the lotto, then finding 2 hemi cars sitting side by side, both the same color, let alone both chargers. Just the tags alone could be worth a bunch! Great find, did you buy them? Reasonably.

My parents used to have a 1966 dodge charger . It was purchased from the original owner in 1981 when we lived in Florida. The car still had its original window sticker, My family moved to TN in 2005 in 2012 and 2014 there were 2 garage fires. The charger and my '61 fury were saved but lost a '70 challenger convertible and a 1968 dart. the 2nd fire the charger and the fury were destroyed. My dad ran down to get inside to back the charger out by the time he got there it was too late. I was devistated when my '61 was destroyed . This happened because trash got burned the day before with dry grass. I was told I should of made the person who did the burning of the trash pay for my '61

it's my life long dream to have a mopar , blue with blue interior. I can't afford paying thousands upon thousands of dollars, but I would love it and drive it and never sell it.. I hope 1 day I can get one

That 66 -67 charger is fixable because look at the frame and call graveyard carz they will help you. DO NOT CRUSH ANY CHARGER. If that car is a five hundred those are worth a lot like that charger that is wreck.

The prices of '68 - 70 Chargers are going through the roof. Hemi cars? Charger 500's? All are restoration candidates. Even a 383 car is the same condition as the first few cars are worth it. The caveat is that a complete restoration or refurbish of a car can easily exceed $100,000. It has to be worth it to you.

ohhhhh damn dude, those are sweet, too bad the owner probably wants like 25 grand for those hemi cars. On a local craigslist ad, there was a original (kinda rusty) 68 charger with a slant 6, i was like wtf? the ad said there were fewer slant 6 chargers built than hemi cars, he wanted like 32k for it, bow thats rediclous.

From what I remember, Hemi cars like the 68-70 Chargers had "hemi" on the doors. I didn't see enough of the doors of these examples, because the guy moved the camera past them too quickly............Also one of them had the "Ramcharger" hood with an engine badge outline............that went too fast for the camera to catch..............

i found j code 69 runner h.t. "copper" auto, buckets & electric windows ( more like a gtx ) a clock instead of a tach so you would know what time it was when the hemi exploded the car is restored now. the guy wanted 2500$ back then lol.

I think to buy any one of those cars, even in that condition, provided the title and vin problems could be worked out, you would be in the 50K range. If it were affordable it would be easy, thus no fun. Maybe the 440 super bee could be had for less, imo its the coolest one, I had a chance to buy one just like that but running and driving in the '80s for 1500. Lets say you got one charger hemi car for 50 k another 60k to restore it to a non-numbers matching car. I think it could bring over the 110k investment.
