This is 3 on 3, they won’t have this much space in nba. There’s going to be help on base line 5x5, and dray is not a good finisher except for that one year.
@janifrison7813 they are the most consistent nation ig... and even without jokic they reach finals last year. Always perform top... Whereas, Germany won last year and who knows when again for example
If he didn't take more then 2 steps without dribbling or have his hand under the ball (carrying), then he isn't breaking any rules. If distance was what determed a travel then guys like Giannis would travel every possession.
@@joshg4562 he is effectively palming the ball when he stops the dribble from happening at the 3pt line and brings it all the way to the ft line before dribbling it again… it’s a carry. He didn’t even have to palm it, you think he can just use the force from his hand to just keep spinning the ball around and continue the dribble wherever he wants??? Check the comments guy it’s a carry, everyone knows it. And yes it does happen in the nba and they get away with it
@@4masonsIsolated players from around the world being dominant doesn’t mean that Europe has dominated the NBA lol. An actual USA roster trying could still beat any international team in a 7 game series 9/10 times.
I mean it would….it just might not end in an uncontested layup 😂😂 if you’re playing against offensive minded guys, they’ll definitely get got by this 😂😂
I can see it working once, but only once in the NBA. No open lay-up, rim protector will be on you, but 2 defenders are stuck on the other guy, you should be able to find an open man for a shot
It doesn't depending on who's on the 3 point line because he could always set that screen for the guy for an open shot. So if they guy doesn't step up next time it's daggers. If the defender steps up, then the same thing can happen again , or he can get a lob pass over top for a lay-up. Of course, there is always better ball denial. Whether this works again depends heavily on who has the ball. If Luka and Kyrie ran this, then the only way to stop it is to send help and keep rotating to the open man. A play is only as good as the players running it.
@@vidicisthegoat5444 Doubtful..I learned this type of movement and teamwork when I was 11…we don’t produce, Kyrie, Kobe, CP3, Jamal Crawford, Steph, etc. by letting our adult males play so poorly. You think Luka would think these guys would cook someone in the NBA? 😂
It’s obviously not as elite as the NBA, because if it were - then it’d be the NBA… That being said, they’re still professional players representing their countries. Can you say the same for yourself? No hate, just a question.
@@izumlaboratories2272 Juts because someone is a professional doesn’t mean that what they are doing is elite or any type of difficult..such as what was shown here
@@JeyFlash I wasn’t debating the fact that it’s elite or not (I think we can both agree it isn’t as entertaining or elite as the NBA), I was just debating the fact that you were comparing it to how NBA all-stars play when saying how “we don’t produce X star by letting adult males play poorly”. Firstly, these guys aren’t playing poorly, it’s just a different set of rules around the same game and fundamentals. Remember that the guys you watch from the NBA, like Luka, are so far above the rest of our playing abilities that we sometimes forget that other pros would cook us too. NBA is basically the top 0.00001%, these guys are like the top 0.1%. From a distance, it looks astronomical, but NBA players have just mastered the extra things too, making it more fun to watch. Cheers mate
