Gripen is an excellent fighter jet with many unique capabilities suitable for air defense, taking off on short runways or normal freeways. Too bad it is under powered. Also if Sweden wants to have better success selling its fighter jets, it must develop and manufacture its own engine. Using engines from USA, US decides which country it can sells its jet to.
