You are a LEGEND! If you where next to me now I’d give you a big kiss…we’ll almost. Just had the R9T serviced and new tyres fitted-Raceteks…. I opted for K2 front and back. Bike dropped off to me at 4pm today, Sunny and 12 deg C. These tyres have transformed the bike, narrow twisty country roads now feel wide! The levels of grip is unbelievable. Poor road surface, white lines, undulations do not effect the bike? Front tyre feel is incredible. I’ll be honest, my decision to purchase was based 100% on your video-can’t thank you enough…looking to book a track day soon as. Cheers
Hey Gav, LOL !! It's fantastic to hear you're so happy with your choice!😃 K2s are (as you know) taking performance even further than the K3s. So Im sure you're now "GLUED" to the road!!!!!🤩😁. The durability will be a little less than for the K3s, but in my mind I'd sacrifice durability for performance any day👊✊. So GREAT CHOICE Gav!!! Welcome to your transformed R9T. 👌@@gavsharpe2607 Well, the Wilbers are a top shock for sure, you can't go wrong with Wilburs . After saying that I'm still in the review process of a few of the leading brands (including Wilbers). I'm curious to see which way I go myself.

@@outtheresomewhere Hi, I love these tyres. I’ve just bought my second set! Did 2500 on them, all on twisty roads. Tyres did not square, although you can see and feel by touch, the transition between the side rubber and the middle rubber(looks like different layers of rubber-clearly showing the different rubber compounds)-this did not effect the ride noticeably. I always inspect my tyres after a ride, all looking good for wear, looked like another 1000 miles remaining then I noticed the carcass showing in the middle of the tyre! I’ll send a picture. I have really been pushing on acceleration as i was preparing for a track day(on another bike). New tyres fitted 2 weeks ago, decided on a K3 on the back(Mettler recommend this for bike apparently). 300 miles done and all good-was taking bike out last night and noticed front is flat(a nail in tread)! Looks like my 3rd new front tyre in 5 months-it’s worth it. Back suspension next year I think. Thinking Wilbers at the moment. Watched your rear suspension video a while back and I did have a few questions to run by you-I’ll watch again and ping you the questions - seemed to think it was regarding the spring and pre load. Keep the good work up.

Thats an interesting and valid point👍 What I've found between racing closed circuit, road and off-road is that tweaking suspension damping has successfully ironed out most, if not all harshness. This is especially so on my heavy adventure bikes with very stiff sidewalls, transitioning between road/offroad. Naturally tires and tire temp/pressure are another element of suspension and different bikes/riders respond differently to the same tires. thanks again for sharing your thoughts and riding experiences...👍👊✊
Great vid, new tyres going on soon - cheers. Thinking of changing the rear shock - I ride tight twisty country roads and the rear does get unsettled over bumps and undulations - heard people having good results with the Wilbers
