This is why I've stopped riding my bike now ☹ So many DANGEROUS drivers now who just don't LOOK for Motorcycles or Cyclists and there's the hundreds of CUNTS who watch ''cycle hate'' clips so themselves drawn into this foolish dangerous game and feel cyclists shouldn't be on THEIR roads, so endanger them and re-enact what they've seen in clips, But what does the Police & Courts do....Just absolutely FUCK ALL 😡 Some 8 years ago I got knocked down by a driver, his reason for doing this was because he couldn't get by instantly but his main excuse was that I didn't pay road tax, get this bastard.....He was driving an all electric Nissan Leaf, can't make this shit up 🤡
@@scotty2hottyltd A medical emergency is no excuse for a collision He should have pulled over to the side & alerted the emergency services who would rather be dealing with a medical emergency at the roadside than the carnage caused by by failing to act in time.
@@ANDREWLEONARDSMITH how about the medical emergency incapacitating the driver therefore unable to control their car?? Which is what I understand was to have happened here.
@@ANDREWLEONARDSMITH Really? So a major heart attack, a stroke or an aneurysm would be no excuse? They can come on extremely suddenly and lose consciousness. I had an uncle who are an aortic aneurysm, and collapsed, without warning when he walked through his front door. He was dead within a couple of minutes.
It’s becoming increasingly common for clips to be described as ‘BMW driver, Audi driver … Lady Driver’ when are they described as Men drivers? Is that because most of them are male? Why is it when it’s a woman driving that’s how it’s described?
@@TheCaptain7190 It's not hatred of women... Stop using words out of context, because when you really need to use that word it would have been so diluted from overuse that nobody will care... It's called stereotypes.
2nd clip and the van driver doesn't even stop, just carries on going, not a care in the world 4th clip with the cyclist, measly £250 fine, £30 surcharge and £85 court costs and 6 month ban, wow
Plus no Victim Surcharge, the only way the cyclist's gets any money is to sue. So why report accidents if it's the crown that only gets the fine money etc..
The initial accident was terrible driving but not deliberate. However, driving away from the scene was unequivocally deliberate. They should have their licence permanently revoked at the very least! Driving is a privilege and this driver showed they are not worthy. £250 fine is laughable. (This basically says driving away from the scene of a crash is a gamble - best outcome you get away skot free and worst case scenario you just pay £250 and have your hand smacked. The richer you are, the better those odds look. All fines should be proportional to wealth and income!)
Try and learn what the legal definition of murder is before posting. To be murder, there has to be an intent to kill, or carry out a deliberate violent act where there is a strong chance of killing somebody. There are specific offences for causing death by driving. As it is, the woman got off lightly, especially given that she deliberately drove off.
@@secularspectator So you are patronising as well as an imbecile who doesn't know the fundamental difference between murder and negligence? Just another person that the education system failed.
2:00. Might have been better to initially leave the driver in the car and let the emergency services deal with him, risk of further injuries broken bones?
Exactly, or a concussion. Years ago when i was a boy racer (to my shame) i flipped my car 3 times over and wrapped it round a lamppost. Guy who had hit me into it called 999 and they told him to leave me in the car incase i was concussed or had injuries. Was there maybe 15 minutes, guy was keeping me awake, slapping my face lightly, asking me questions until they got to me. Was only after they removed the door did they see i had a piece of glass from the windscreen in my lower abdomen, concealed by my jacket. Because it was 11PM and i took the only light out, the guy didnt see it and I was too high on adrenaline to feel it. So NEVER pull someone out a car. Wait for the medics.
I would agree - unless they thought there was a petrol leak? Having said that, they didn't carry the unfortunate driver at pace half a mile down the road...
Why was the last video speeded up? & if it was so dangerous why was the camera car being driven so close to the rear of them. Give them space so if they do go down, you can stop/take avoiding action. What has HWC rule 69 got to do with it?
Not sure what was going on with the police 'training' incident. Police carrying out hard stop training must create a sterile area by putting a rolling road block on behind the exercise, they wouldn't normally use unmarked cars, and they wouldn't do the stop on a busy slip road surrounded by other cars. It looked much more like the Volvo that dived in between the two unmarked cars was being stopped for being a knob.
Those Lycra boys at the end appeared to all belong to the same club so maybe that car they were slip streaming was part of their competition training? 🤔 Maybe Tour de France? Or tour de Swindon more likely?
What the clip @6:17 is complaining about, I have no idea. First it has been sped up by around 2:1, so slow it down to the right rate and it looks a lot less frantic (and the pedestrians are walking at a normal speed). Secondly, the cammer wasn't exactly inconvenienced as far as I can see, and there is no requirement to travel in that narrow "cycle lane" on the left. Maybe, the first cyclist was travelling too close to the car in front, but it does not look so bad when played at the normal speed. Finally, and more importantly, the cammer passed all three cyclists far too close. That white line provides zero protection, so you are meant to pass cyclists with at least 1.5 metres clearance at speed up to 30mph (more above that). There was not way that was anywhere near that. The Highway Code puts the greatest duty for safety on those who can do the most damage. In this case, it's the cammer who would have some explaining to do.
Cyclists at the end were daft, but the camera driver overtook all 3 without give 1.5m after also following them too close whilst they followed the car too close. All as bad as each other.
They were in a bike lane, surely the whole point of a bike lane is that you don't need to add another 1.5m to that too, I say this as a cyclist, as long as I'm in the lane I don't care if the cars come within a foot of the white lines.
@@petersylvester2905 That isn't quite right. You need to give at least 1.5m (1.5m is at 30mph, you should give more space the faster you are going) unless they are in a segregated lane, and paint is not segregation.
@@petersylvester2905- Tell you what, you get your backside on a bike, cycle on a narrow painted lane like that one (the paint offer great protection), I'll go past you in a 2 ton metal box about 2ft away and see how you feel about it.
so colin will whine about the bike been too close to someone else, then pass with maybe 30 cm of space in some form of petty revenge? such high horse, such nobility
I hate cyclists ‘slipstreaming’ me like that because if I need to slow down for any reason there’s a chance they’ll not notice and run into me, and then blame me for it!
@@richardhooper8325 If you play it at half speed the pedestrians' pace looks more normal. Also, you get to see the tail-gating cyclist making a 'get a move on' gesture, but because he's too close to the vehicle in front, he can't see it's the one in front of that which is causing the hold up.
5:15 This happened to my Son, after it went to court the courts declared it was a 50/50 at fault between both drivers, both could have seen each other clearly but failed to do so and steer away from each other to avoid the accident, this sucked for my Son as the road marking clearly showed the outer vehicle was at fault, he even questioned the decision, the judge saying road marking are for only an advisory safe passage....It's all bollocks if you ask me. The three cyclists riding erratically & tailgating must be Audi & BMW owners surely 🤣😂🤣
The roundabout left turn lane are not very common and I feel drivers are scared of them hence the slow down and/or stop. I did try and see if the previous signage gave any instruction of this, but could not see anything. Locals who are fully aware of this lane should bear this in mind and hang back a bit.
The problem with those lanes is that a lot of them, just like this one, are not 'protected lanes' and traffic coming from the right cut across them. In the absence of a physical divider exercise some caution but maybe not to the extent that this driver did.
Dave Jones you need to calm down a bit and less of that horn so the lady driver stopped where there was no give way line just be patient your actions made a nervous driver worse
4:58 they redid this roundabout a few years back, allegedly to make it safer, but I've seen more crashes on it than ever before. The lanes are clearly marked and everything, but people either can't read or don't care.
yup BMW was trying to force his way out and the Jag was refusing to be bullied. Happens alot on my main road too, see plenty of these "let me out or i'll hit you" accidents.
Because people complain about them in the comments, video gets more comments, boosts the video in the algorithm, video gets more views, more people complain. It's the circle of engagement. Same reason click-bait hate articles exist.
At the start you can see there is a dedicated left turn lane to the left of where the cammer is, then when the cars move you can see that the arrows in the cammer's lane shows Left and Straight on. So for that Lane where that Grey car went was Left and where the Blue was going was straight on.
What a bully ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EDcdWMEItLs.html probably the driver is new in the area using the horn against the Highway advice distracted the front driver.
6:17 They have just made all the roads narrower to install cycle lanes where I live, now they are too narrow to overtake slow moving bikes riding on the road next to the cycle paths!
The cyclist at roundabout we can see your shadow no arm signals clearly both hands on the handlebars. If u don't signal then cars don't know where your going
Awful driving by the person behind the lady in the small silver car firstly you're too close which will make her nervous secondly you're beeping like crazy which will make her nervous thirdly you're being unnecessarily aggressive some people aren't great drivers you just have to be a little bit patient I understand she doesn't know what she's doing but if it's the first time she's given on a motorway it can be pretty intimidating and having an **** like you behind a beeping away doesn't help.
