Unbelievable Value with Lucky65 - Don't Miss Out!

It's crazy how just a few years ago, QK or Zoom were the only options for a "budget" friendly keyboard. For some people, these still cost a lot and are not affordable. However, along comes the Lucky65, redefining the meaning of budget keyboard.
Overall, the Lucky65 is a very solid keyboard with a more clacky and creamy sound profile. The finishing is quite good. The anodization is not the finest, but it’s good enough. There is some inconsistency in the feel of the surface; some parts may feel super smooth while other parts can feel a little grainy. The stock stabilizers don’t have much rattle. The wires are properly balanced as well, which is surprising. I would still recommend relubing the stabs, as they feel a bit sluggish.

i bought one, and tried to make a clacky build: you just can't do it. The board even feels like you're typing on foam and the sound is pretty eh... but the board can be nice and thocky, and its tri mode capabilities also make the board worth purchasing.

U probably need a clacky switch. Change the plate to carbon fibre, use UHMWPE tape to seal the flex cut. Probably can get it to clack, but won’t be as bright due to the flexcut.

@@maxkeeb_official haven't found a CF plate for it, and i've tried HMX pearls on it. I liked the sound but it's not truly clacky, in my opinion. i see where you're going though

how do you deal with not having the F keys? I always end up needing them for something.

I mainly use a TKL for productivity work. On a 65%, you can always use the FN key combinations.

I got so used to having no f-row that I sometimes forget I don’t need to press fn on some keyboards

It's e coat version is great, pretty much on par to higher end keyboards in like the 100 to 200 dollar range

You’re right. I’m just concerned with E-coat’s durability in general.

@@maxkeeb_officialquestion, is e coat better than anodized version?

@@Cnamonn Depends on the looks your going for. There’s no better choice here. If you’re looking for durability, ano is better. E coat can be scrapped off or chipped.

Why does the plate look like foam? Its so wobbly! very nice build by the way.

It’s made of nylon. Similar to PC and POM, soft materials
@Kenzie1051
@Kenzie1051 3 месяца назад
@@maxkeeb_official I mean yeah but usually PC and POM have enough structure to resist the pull of gravity, but nylon doesn’t?
@maxkeeb_official
@maxkeeb_official 3 месяца назад
@@Kenzie1051 You mean the plate seems bent upward? That’s because the gasket mounting point on the PCB. So the plate is free to move around the case. It will be held in place when you insert the switches.

@@maxkeeb_official every time you hold the plate in the video it seems to be bending downwards, barley able to resist gravity. around 0:27 and also around 1:55 are both places where we see this.

@@Kenzie1051it’s a soft material. Same thing can be seen if you’re using PC, PP or even POM plate.
