I am currently working on Mystery Edition 1 and I love it. I’m also working on the Butterfly Edition, but I only got that one because it was one of those “buy this at a discount” deals that you get when you check out. So I’m not as excited about the subject matter, but it’s nice enough and great to practice with. I have about six or so other sets, but the mystery one and butterflies are the ones I have started. I got them so that I could practice placing square diamonds on a smaller scale and I’d say that plan has been working. I feel like I’ll be pretty comfortable when I start my first big square project. I do something different with the legend. I make a color photocopy of the complete sticker sheet to keep as a reference (I have an all-in-one printer, so it’s easy to do) and then place the stickers on the bags. If I had enough storage to put them in containers I would do that, but I don’t, so baggies it is.
I don’t have these two particular kits, but I also have a Collector Heart (I love that!!) and I have 12 of these kits. I’ve worked on 3 of the sets so far and I love them!
I have not done a PaintGem kit yet. I will definitely pick one up. The landscapes were particularly cute. I personally think they are comparable based on the detail and size. Thank you for your unboxing video. Have a great time at the retreat. Can't wait to hear about it.

Gorgeous kits! I recently completed my first paintgem kit (floral edition, as mother day gifts!) - and I'm not gonna lie, the Tuscany set is immediately on my wishlist! I have turned out to be quite the landscape/ scene diamond painter - thought primarily still with fantasy/ galaxy themes. But the tuscany edition really stole my heart 🥰
I tried to start my first Paint Gem about a month ago but the static was so terrible, I put it away. I usually deal with static with everything because of my environment, so I’m not being dramatic 😅 I may try again soon
My boyfriend is a musician so I had to jump on the Music one immediately- but well , I am collecting them have almost all meanwhile (only three missig I think)😇 aaaand - thats absolutely because of your videos - you hooked me up 😄

I started with an Amazon kit for my first. My next wonderful purchase was PaintGem and I haven’t stopped yet. They are great to throw in your purse or suitcase when you can’t take your larger one. ❤

Paint Gems are sooo cute especially their ocean set and houseplants sets. I just can't quite bring myself to buy any yet... My stash (an even mix of DAC and Dreamer Designs) is just getting way too big and the last thing I need is an addiction to another diamond painting company.
