Unboxing A $60 Ebay Mystery Art Supply Box..(scammed again?) 

This box feels like someone went shoplifting at Michael’s and used eBay to fence the haul. These are all easy to snatch and conceal, I think that’s the unifying theme in the supplies.

Someone literally hit this clearance isle at Michaels and put it in a box 🤣

I think their intention on sending the face mask was so you could design it since it’s blank but that’s a guess

As someone who's moved on to digital art, I'd love to give you all of my hardly used Prismacolors and other art supplies instead of it just sitting there in my closet!

This honestly seems like someone just sold you a bunch of stuff that was broken/dying or that they just didn't want anymore

Just to let you know, the artist series marker i have and it’s a series of alcohol based markers that are sold 3 for $4 in a pack at dollerama which is a Canadian dollar store. They come in packs of 3 with light, medium and dark, as far as I’ve seen they come in pink, blue, blue green and grey scales, they are actually pretty good but have a really strong smell as you’ve probably found out, I haven’t finished your video yet just wanted to comment this before I forgot

Best idea ever! Let the VIEWERS make you art boxes, and then you create something with them! That would be awesome, I would live to spend 40 bucks on art supplies and see what you can create with them

12:42 Ey! My trade school had this for welders! We used it to mark metal or tools. (Admittedly I used mine to doodle lol) They were really good for the purpose we used em for! (And for doodling on other things they weren't bad.) I still have them! But I think they dried out.

Something I discovered when trying to put up my own mystery boxes for sale, Ebay wouldn't let me list them as a mystery box. So someone went to great lengths to scam :c

Now imagine the ebay seller makes a video "I sold a bunch of crap to a stranger on ebay- and it worked" 😂

Oh girl, the Elmer Painter's marker is a throwback to all of us little hood kids who would *cough* creatively acquire these from craft stores and tag stuff XD

btw Rae i live in Canada, so they might not have this in the states but the “artist series” marker is about a buck each at dollar store near me

The black markers she couldn't find online remind me of a pack of markers I got from 5 below yesterday. They were literally called dual ended art markers and retail at like 50 cents each.

For anyone wondering the artist series marker is from a popular dollarstore in Canada called Dollarama and it's sold in a pack of 3 for 3-4 dollars all together.

Your videos have taken up shop on my home page, so I’ve been watching as they come through. My apologies for comments on any older videos. Your mask looks fantastic! As for the ink pad, if you “squish” it down onto something non-porous like plastic, ziplock baggie, non-stick craft mat, etc., you can add water to it and paint with it. It’s actually pretty fun to do that, but use it as a tiny splatter effect on your backgrounds or even on finished pieces to add a little texture. It works really good on grounds, skies and flowers. That’s just the paper crafter in me 😊

I don't understand WHY people just have to scam others. Yes, you got art supplies but it was a whole box of BS, let's be honest.

With thin microns, you have to move gentle and slow for the ink to run smooth. Also their barrels get messed easily. That's a new micron, you just have to be gentle with it

One way you can use that teal stamper is to distress. Usually brown or black is the go-to, but teal could be very cool with rust and gold to create metallic looks. Especially on edge surfaces. I like to make journals and that's just the kind of weird supply I would use by rubbing the cover along the edges with the stamper. You can also crumple up brown paper bag and when you lay it flat, the stamper will pick up all of the nice crinkles when you rub over the paper. Let me know if you'd like more info on how to "leather/suede" brown paper bags.

So what I'm learning from these is you'd be better off just buying a bunch of random stuff from the craft store then risk it on a mystery box. Maybe you could send another artist friend to create one for you with a certain budget so at least you know you'll be getting all new stuff that's worth the money. Plus having another artist do it you know it'll be stuff that works together.

I used to work for Elmer’s and 1. The Painters Paint Pens are awesome, though there can be QC issues. 2. That branding is at least over 6 years old. I thought it was a knockoff at first because that had already been phased out when I started in 2015.
