For displaying the rugs, get some pants hangers and hang them from a straight clothing rack or if you don't have a free rack, remove all shelves from your tallest shelving unit and use curved peg hooks and a shower rod with the pant hangers to display them.

Hang rugs from pants hangers or some stores stack on a table so you can pick up the corners and just flip through them until you find the pattern you want to look at. I suggest you try to put all the tags in one corner.

If you have the wall space get a clothing rod for a closet and amount it to the wall and than get heavy duty hooks for rugs then you can display them that way.

For displaying rugs, you can take a picture of it rolled out or find a stock photo and attach it to the rug so they know what it looks like in your store without taking it out of the package

That was not a broken shelf. Live edge means only the bark was taken off. It is the common decoration for floating shelf live edge fireplace mantels etc.

Sometimes the item is too odd shaped to ship and that's why they can't put everything on the fire sale. It has to be shipped when it's purchased by someone on the fire sale.

I have used Quilt racks in the past to display Rugs. You can fold them in half and such and several at a time.

get a bar and put it on the wall like you would have Bar for a towel rack or whatever mounted on the wall good and tight and then throw your rugs over it that will fit the bigger ones you could probably tack on the wall

Unroll each rug, take a picture and print it, then reroll the rug and stick the picture to it. That way you don't have to unroll it every time someone wants to see it.

Try displaying the rugs hanging on the walls you can keep them folded to save space just make sure to have actual sizes on them or they can be hung from S-Hooks attached to ceiling supports too

If you have the space look into a display similar to what you see in a store that displays area rugs. Only down size it to what you need for your products. An aerial display in the back of the store will draw your customers to the back to look and will also let them see your other wares. Good luck.

Maybe get your Dad to put together something to hang the carpets on the wall of the store. Maybe go and have a look at a carpet store and see how they display them to get ideas to modify fore your store.

I am thinking you could make use of the wooden pallet stands and build some hanging racks attaching large clips (screw on or use some kind of super holding glue)... maybe 2-4 clips, depending on the strength and size. The clips I am thinking of are binding clips used mostly for paper, but they make ones that are much larger for other things (some even look vintage). You might be able to use the pallet stand as is, if you have a wall you could mount it too or can build a stand. They might overlap, but it should work and would be a low ost solution for all different shapes and sizes of rugs.

You asked for ideas to display the rugs and runners:::if you have a blank wall attach either towel racks or curtain rods to it then drape rugs over them. Or string some rope between 2 nails then drape over that

That would make me cry. Please don't use it for a planter. It's is made for canning. Mother had two, and that's what she used. There is a name for them, but I don't remember, but she always used for canning.

I would use the copper tub by my fireplace and fill it with pinecone for the fireplace. Build a rack with slats so you can hang them over sometimes you’ll see him in homes for quilts you could put rugs on it instead you might have to make a little heavier but make it wider but you could do that to display them better

Sell that tub for $100, I think it is worth it especially if its copper. I would use it for a lot of things as I raise my food, it would probably be full of winter squash. You nailed it as a fireplace wood holder.

Take my advice, unzip the sheets, and sSMELL them. I got a new set for my birthday, and it stank so bad, ( like a dead body) I gagged . I washed them, but the smell wouldn't come out, so I threw them out!!
