today i'm unboxing a PLUS SIZE mystery thrift box (w/try-on haul!) i've had my share of hits and misses when it comes to mystery thrift boxes from the internet, but since i've had such a positive experience with this plus size vintage brand previously, i had to give it a shot! i chose 2 different mystery boxes in a size 16, so make sure to stay til the end to see me try on ALL of the pieces i got! hope you enjoy xoxoxo

The fruit pants are EVERYTHING. My aunt loves vintage, and she has had a pair for fruit pants since her 20s (she’s in her late 40s now) and when she puts them on, that means summer is here. One of my favorite memories growing up.

I audibly gasped when you tried on the sequin strapped tank top, it looks so good especially with the leather pants!! It looks so different on than just hanging. Both that and the blue and white zip up have disco queen vibes

You got great stuff. My favorite was the blue and white jacket but also loved the fruit pants and "Wine Auntie" matching suit. By the way, the New Year seems to have given you a new glow, you just look extra pretty..... Always pretty just extra now.

I think based on their estimated values you might get better items in an 8 piece box but it's hard to tell

Loved these items! If you want to try another mystery box, I would recommend one from CAKE in Minneapolis. They are an awesome plus-sized re-sale shop and Cat puts together the best mystery bags!

I ordered a blueberry box and I’m so disappointed… I knew the theme meant darker colors but I did specify that I like jewel tones and burgundies. I ended up with 3 black pieces made from scratchy fabrics with a weird smell. Major DEB/forever 21 clearance section vibes. Worst $50 I’ve ever spent.

I’d forgotten about the slinky cloth items. I hated it as a tween because it shows every bump. Now, if I saw those fruit pants in the store, I’d have kept moving. However when you showed them on bod with just a simple cami, I really like them. It’s probably just you. And, I think you look especially pretty in this video. Dk if it’s your hair pulled off your face, or glowing skin, or the blue top paired with your strawberry blonde hair. You look beautiful.
