Yeah this advice was valid before the mass adoption of Lithium-ion batteries. Now, you do not need to do that AND its also WORSE for the battery to charge to 100% everytime Its much better for battery health to charge in short spurts, and also worse to charge above 80% too often. If you limit your charging to short spurts instead of charging from 0% - 100%, and dont charge to 100% often (you should unplug the charger when your battery reaches around 80%), your battery will last much longer I personally dont care tho and would rather use my device however I want. I can always replace the battery if really necessary!
I had an awesome north American vita slim in blue, I liked it a lot but it was stolen out of my car in a Walmart parking lot.. Lost the exact same case you had along with the official 64 gig memory card and a binder with over 70 vita cartridges. This happened a few years ago and I'm still furious with what happened. I've been looking at and considering getting the same Japanese glacier white slim model that you have here via ebay. Is there any differences from the NA models at all????
@@Lotus_Tech are there still sellers have brand new? whats the names i can only find parts when i search for brand new. and yoh said a few so its really hard to search that. pls
@@aascsvc.. yea there are a few but like there are extremely hard to get it takes a few days to find one and now they are really expensive I bought mine for 295 new
Great video, I have a question if you can answer. I managed to soft mod my PSV Hencore Henkako where Ive to click it each time I turn on PSV. Got games on SD2VITA, how can I do permanent modd without losing games? I wana just turn it on and start playing. Please advise. Thank you
is the x and o switch a normal thing with the japanese ones? i just ordered mine from japan and heard about this being a thing. Why is this a thing, and and is there a way to change it back to default?
I think in Japanese culture O means Yes while X means No. Sony, a Japanese company, adapted that to their PlayStation button design. Most PlayStation systems released in most Asian countries the default button configuration is O for Yes and X for No. Don't know why Sony switched them for western countries. If I remember correctly, you can change the O and X button configuration somewhere in the PS Vita's settings.
@@LinkSergilBelmont I'd never understand why they used X as yes and O as no in other countries. They could easily leaved it like it was and nobody would have an issue with it.
Hi, I think the slim is the best option cause it looks more modern you have more color options and a better port and battery that is why I got this one.
@@Lotus_Tech fat is definitely more superior in terms of screen. Only so far you can go with vibrancy and screen settings on the slim model and most people prefer the true oled of the fat version but slim is better in every other aspect
@Dr. Peach Guy Switch library is absolute trash compared to the Ps vita library so I could understand someone spending more on a switch rather than a cheap switch. Though 350$ is too much.
If you’re trying to preserve your vita I would avoid using it while charging. I did when it first released and the battery is ruined. Although the vita I have is the original so they may have updated the battery.
changing the battery is fairly easy tbh but 3rd party batteries are always dodgy. no end of 3rd party ps3 and ps4 batteries end up just dying after not using it in a few months. so authentic sony batteries are the way to go.
I cant do a drop test, you can do that your self lmao. So the white with the black sticks is a matte finish? Been in the market to import a matte finish vita but trying to figure out witch models have the matte finish.
@@Lotus_Tech Beeettt Thank you Homie! Mine should be coming by the 20th!!! Also if you don’t mind me asking how much did you pay for your Vita? I don’t think mines is sealed, but the reviews are Good!
