I used to weld up dust collectors and shears and all big heavy equipment items for foundries and what have you, I'm old now retired with two real bad hips and I miss work, having to retire really sucks😢 very depressing
I’ve noticed the comments so far are happy for you getting a new TOY it’ll be interesting to figure out how everything works. Your dog is like mine likes to be in the middle of things, starting to get old, like mine. Thank you Sir for the video
Now that my mechanicing days are long past, I keep my home improvement tools in those same boxes. I think I bought one at the local Ace, and ordered the rest from Summit Racing (had the best prices of all the choices).
I have 2 of these machines they are pretty decent a couple of minor improvements are needed the aluminium bearing mounts aren't flat and when you tighten them up it grips the bar and doesn't help it slide smoothly also the bolts that are used to hold the motor onto the bearings are better changed to studs to make it easier to mount the motor up that's pretty much the only things I could find fault with the screws that adjust the cutters are 1.0mm fine pitch so when you adjust the bar it moves it out twice that distance the measuring tool is pretty decent and very accurate but make sure you sweep it across the cutter to get the highest point
Hi you can tell me something more about it i just order one on aliexpres and im afraid if its come 😅and generali how its work. Thank you Edit. How long you waiting for your mashines? Where you from?
I can't to see what I think of it. I was in contact with s power this summer and got a quote to have the setup shipped to me. I just wasn't sure if that was the setup I wanted to go with. The york setup is appealing to me because you can run three different size boring bars off of the same motor. So you can run a small bar for smaller bores. I don't know what the best setup would be if I was only buying one setup. But definitely interested in hearing your thoughts on the s power.
Snowman poop! It's what I called them at work before I retired. Hated them, they got everywhere. But they did the job, protected whatever they were packed around.
Great, now I think that if all of you master fabricators and creators could suggest plans for a pull out Micro Lathe sliding rack door setup for on site machine work (some kind of roll out design protected from the elements), would be an Awesome addition to his Rolling Machine Shop/Welding Heavy Equipment Warehouse on Wheels.
Hell yeah. Its exciting to see one of these in the hands of an experienced bore repair guy. I have been waiting to see if these units are worth a damn. Don’t hold back. Let us know if the quality is there. It has the euro style connector on the welding lead. I wonder if the little arc captain could run it? Does it have the duty cycle to make?
I recently bought the same machine directly from China. Manufactured by S Power but sold under various brands on Alibaba. All the parts are exactly the same as yours, rotating unit, feed screw, shafts, tools, etc. Your machine seems to be re-packed nicely into Milwaukee Packouts, I received my machine in weak plywood boxes whose were damaged during shipping but anyway the machine itself was ok.
Would be better for those larger Milwaukee boxes to have had proper custom foam cutout trays than just packing foam. And yes packing peanuts can F**k right off, why do people use them?
Im always hesitant to buy a product when the company website doesnt have correct grammar/english. Obviously a Chinese product, so I'll be surprised if it holds up well with time. Looking forward to feedback nonetheless...
Hello, I come from Slovakia and I would like to ask if it is worth investing in an S-power machine to begin with. I've thought about it for a long time, I'm just afraid of it. Sorry if my English is not good, but I translate via google, Thank you for your reply.
Sir, we are a fabricator and heavy machine repair company in Scotland, we are in the market for a line borer, now that you have had this machine for two months how do you rate it, they sell for £4500 in the uk plus tax
Yes he’s got a welding helmet, wears it all the time when he’s welding or arc gouging & goggles for when he’s using a torch, then face shields for grinding. He knows to be careful.
I assume that you were offered this very extensive package for free? If that is indeed the case, I thought you should show more respect for the sponsor and better visualize the various boxes. For example, you did not even remove the foil from the measuring instruments in the blue- and wooden box for our viewers and show the contents. I think this should be said. Greetings from the Netherlands.
This is an unboxing video. When I make the video about using it and i know and understand everything that it came with I will gladly show everything. Yes it was “free” and I wasn’t asked to do a video, I just decided to make one because I was grateful for it.
My dog is extremely well taken care of! He has several warm fluffy beds with heaters and heat lights but he chooses not to lay on them. He also jumps into ice water for fun.
We have entered into the world of "unboxing stuff: influencer content." Respectfully boring............ Sitll love your content tho...... this one seemed unlike you.
This video was a little different in the fact that this was sent to me for free and they did not ask for me to make a video. I was very grateful for that so I decided to make a video about it.
How about you just take all those nicely packaged parts out of those cases and just dump them in a big bucket? Then you could grab a broomstick and stir till the thing you think might work comes to the top. Just a really wild idea but you might have looked at the outside of the boxes to Find the packing list in the instructions before You just put it All In a Big pile. If this video is an example of your professionalism I feel sorry for your customers. Adios. I see now why your name is on fire welding.
Put it through the ringer let’s compare it to the BB5 one thing I like the pricing specially if you’re just starting out, but is it worth the money I can’t wait to you get it going. I can’t afford the big blue just yet. What are the bore dimensions on the S power?
