I’ve been collecting Diecast since I was a kid… I remember my dad would buy me matchbox cars when he came home from work sometimes and it really stuck with me. However Hot Wheels just have the magic so I enjoy spending any spare money I have growing my collection. Opening cars is the best part! I’m a huge car guy that really wanted to learn video editing so I created this channel to share my passion and hopefully some super fun and original content too. Editing takes absolutely forever but I’m having lots of fun with it and I hope that my videos can bring happiness to other people. Wishing you a great day! 10:11 that green 911 casting FINALLY has some accurate looking "fanblade" wheels that many Porsches wore in the late 60s/early 70s. Wish they would produce an accurate Targa 911 from that era too... 11:16 been collecting the 67 for a number of years, partly because I'm a fan of Larry Wood castings and that this took a long time to swap from a metalbase/bonnet opening model to the inferior version made in mainline(same with the VW Bug & TwinMill). I love this casting & have approx 25 different versions, with some custom models of my own still to make. It's been around for what seems like decades ago, looks like an old school casting & I gather some "sealed" later versions still have engine details under the body.

You’re totally right dude. Those C5 wheels are made for vintage Porsche castings going forward. Especially with chrome accented spokes. We must remember that Hot Wheels are priced low in comparison to brands such as Mini GT so it’s a challenge to make similar replica rims unless you’re talking about the Elite 64 range… I’m sure you know what I mean : ) Keep customising your hot wheels bro. As sad as it sounds it’s super exciting to me. Watch my premium 2 pack race with the LBWK skylines. I thought for sure those two were going to be trash on the loop and in fact in some races they smashed the competition! You are right though. Anything low should go slow ; ) but also. Who knows!!! Nice vid 😁😁 i also found the camaro while i am living in the netherlands and here it is also really difficult to hunt hot wheels so most of the times i go to germany to hunt. Are also formiliar with error hot wheels ? I have got a ford mustang shelby gt 500 from '68 in blue but with missing stripes on the side of the car and i cant find any errors of this car online😅

thx for the reaction ❤. Well i have family living in Greece and every time i'm there i also visit the local toy store there. This time only my parents were in Greece . And my dad found the camaro there along with a sth fiat 500😅 i have been hunting for 10 years never found 1 and then my dad found my first one for me😂.

I own only mercedes atm.🙂 Unfortunately in Sweden we cant find premium or silver series cars easily in stores. We have to order it or trade most of the time. Trying to find chase opening hood is amazing on it. 🌟

I really hope you get get your hands on the Camaro dude. It’s one of those releases that’s actually really special. I must admit that there seems to be a lack of stock around online for the VRC silver series cars. Hopefully in time more will become available. Keep hunting and I really hope you can find some more. I very much doubt this set will ever hit a store in the UK and I got super super lucky with an online retailer that has since never restocked. I’ve seen a couple of sets going for £40-50 on eBay so I was indeed lucky to grab a set for £35. If anything dude. Call the Camaro a pay day treat at the beginning of next month and grab it from a scalper in the secondary market. It’s worth it 110%. Do you guys have the Boulevard set with the Honda Accord in store now? What about the Silvia LBWK Boulevard set?

@@customcollects Not completely, I don't have much money to spend plus I collect from all other lines too, but I got the Mercedes in person since I love the model and knowing it is metal/metal was incredible. It is like purchasing a speed machine for less than half the price!! I would LOVE to have the Camaro, but I'm from Spain and the scalpers are even WORSE than UK or USA, I can't even find a single Camaro reselling and ebay is too much shipping cost for my country.

@@customcollects Oh trust me, I loved the Mercedes, I'm from Murcia, the region just on the right to all Andalucía region! My girlfriend is actually from Écija, a city in Sevilla but more near to Córdoba! And well, of course I'll be back for your next upload, I watched like 6 or 7 videos from your channel last night and subbed, you definitely have a bright future on RU-vid, I can tell! You can’t find things in my local area. It’s really bad.. I went Smyth's on Saturday picked up a premium Porsche, whilst walking towards the till a member of staff tried to say they aren't allowed to be sold yet and started reeling off some bullsh*t about how they need to be put out by himself as he is the only staff that has knowledge on them. I laughed to the point of tears paid and put a polite complaint with the manager.

I only managed to pick up a set today! My Smyths is much the same. I tried to click and collect some card and within 15 minutes the store CANCELLED my request. Jokers! You know their staff are slinging cars on eBay on the daily for sure dude. Savages. I hope you can get your hands on more of the cars you’re looking for in the future mate. Congratz man! Where did you find it and how much did you pay for it? If you left this comment hoping that I would tell you to open it. Then yes, 100% you should open it. The last part of being a hot wheels collector is enjoying holding each car in your hand and enjoying the thing you bought with your hard earned money. That’s how I see it. But in the same breath dude, you bought it so you do whatever you like with it. If you think a collection looks better wrapped or unwrapped that’s a personal preference. The best thing to do with more desirable pieces is to buy two if you can. That way you can open one and keep one mint : ) it’s your call bro. I found it at Meijer in one of those “sidekick” displays. I think those cars were $2.97 each. So yeah, I’m probably going to open it and put it with my other open Camaro’s. Keep up the great videos brother, I’m a new fan.

To learn video editing, have EVEN MORE of an excuse buy more Hot Wheels and to chat with really cool people like your good self. ALSO... $3 bucks!! No way? That's so so good. If the VRC hit stores here we'd pay £3.49 which is about $4.40. Definitely open it. If you can see in my video, when I open mine I shook it to see how sturdy it was and it's a great piece to display with the hood open. Premium wheels though! Really really needed. Have you ever tried cracking the case from the bottom?

Yes of course. I’ve even thought about making a video about the “X amount” of ways to open your hot wheels. As a fun one. But it’s never consistent. You can try and be careful and you know 100% the car will come flying out like a rocket. You can cut it open with a knife and then take a trip to hospital. I have tried using the ventilation/gap at the bottom but it’s much the same. Sometimes they open clean like a nice little door and other times the blister comes away with a thin cardboard lid and you need to fight your way inside. It just is what it is so I guess what you see in videos is more of a “technique” that somewhat means I’m more likely to open it without struggling as my finger goes around 3 out of the 4 sides. Apologies for the long message. But also there is no 100% hassle free method to opening hot wheels. And don’t get me started about nail polish remover. Those cars come out saturated in chemicals so unless you’re stripping the paint next I hope people don’t do that for cars they want to display lol 😂 🚗💨

I have really gotten into 1/32 slot cars in the last few years with a track and slot car collection not buying many hot wheels now. Was an original Red line Club member in 1970 still remember the Chrome Boss Hoss I received in the mail. Still have all the Hot Wheels Premiums and RLC’s I have collected 2000 to 2020 on cards

Wow does video editing take a long time! But I’m having a lot of fun with it. In most instances 1:64 scale models don’t end up looking perfectly like the real car and there are lots of features that are over exaggerated in the final 1:64 design. Either way! I know what you mean and you’ll be happy to learn that I can send you in the direction of the two times I have shown a real car in my video. Check out my last team transport for the Porsche and also my modern classics video for the Mazda : ) I’m sure those won’t be the last time I show the real car but also it would take even more time to source the images and edit them into each video nicely. hello there....I just stumbled upon this video (very cool BTW) I have a few questions for you guys Hot Wheels made some cars that came in a plastic display case I believe them to be Hot Wheels 100% (I no longer have the cards)? I have a few of them and no I'm not wanting to part with them. Also have some "Hall Of Fame" cars "milestone Moments" all of these cars seem to have much better details than what I see in the stores now days.....what gives are Hot Wheels not making them anymore?

Hot Wheels RLC members can buy premium and exclusive cars from Mattel and you can find them for high prices on eBay too. The Diecast world already destroys my wallet just collect 1:64 and some 1:43 models too. Can you recommend the best brand that makes 1:87? I would be very interested to check them out! :D

Right now you’ll most see posts on Reddit talking about “7-11 exclusive” to start with and then it’s moving over to Walmart later. This whole set will be an interesting one to watch. You’d imagine that Mattel manufacture the silver label in few quantities than their other lines so it’s not surprising if not everyone will see these in a store near them. I got super super lucky buying mine from a UK based online retailer. Keep your eyes peeled on eBay. I’d say this set is a GRAB especially the Camaro, then the Porsche, then the Corvette. You could skip the rest. I hope you can find this set in the future. Let me know when you buy any pieces for your collection and stay lucky friend. Would love to visit Australia one day for sure. Two old friends of mine now live there full time and rate it!

@@customcollects thank you for your reply. There is another set coming to our shores soon and once again we miss one car in the set. I’m not sure which set or car as I forgot to take note. Australia is great if you get out of the cities and go bush. The real Aussies live in the bush. Unfortunately our cities, even though they are very nice, are full of people from overseas. Now I don’t mean that in a racist way. I was speaking with some pommie backpackers and it was them that said they had to leave the city to find the real Aussies. Melbourne is my pick of cities. Clean, well laid out, beautiful people and very helpful, alway the public transport is great. You’ll love it here.

@@customcollects summer Christmas are usually hot but still great. Mainlines are $2 each in Big W, Kmart and Target but go up to $3.75 in supermarkets and in service stations they are $5. Some premiums, such as those shown ( bmw, corvette, Porsche ) are $4.95 whilst others such as boulevards are $9.00. Transporters have risen in price from $17 to $27 over the last 18 months. Twin packs are $19 in Target and $24 in Toy stores. Monster Trucks are around $5.50 each. 5 packs of Hot Wheels are $9 in Big W and 10 packs are $19. Matchbox cars are a tad dearer than Hot Wheels for most models if and when you can find them. Example, a 5 pack of MBX can be up to $6 dearer than a Hit Wheels 5 pack.

Your prices were in Australia dollars right? The best price we have for 1 mainland is £1.49 which is $2.87 Australian. Great to chat with you! Need to get busy with my next upload. It’s shame that the second set will be only 5 cars too. But most likely the same price. Either way. It’s a smart collection of 6 and a great one to have in the Diecast collection too. @Stone_tylor Hey man. Yeah, wow. I can’t tell you how lucky I was to pick up that full set of all 6 online. A UK based online retailer posted that they were going to put limited sets on their website at a set time and I scored myself the set! You MUST own that Camaro my friend. It’s perfect. Maybe more perfect with real rider wheels! This said. You have to remember that America themselves started talking about VRC being only in 7/11 stores and then moving over to Walmarts after. I’ve seen small pockets of these cars popping up in other stores all over the world but mostly please remember that FULL boxes of 10 cars aren’t guaranteed to have the chase camaro! It’s insane. But as I mentioned in the video I love the hype and controversy Hot Wheels created with this set. The 2nd set of 5 cars will be easy to find… mark my words. It’s just always this way.
