I love American’s Oktoberfest. I play it quite a bit and it’s on my short list of pins to purchase in the future. I enjoy it more than Houdini. And unlike Stern’s recent trend to hide the pop bumpers. Not only does American not hide the pops, they put bumper cars on them, making them even more of a focal point. Great job, guys.
The Lil’ Pinball Partner and I made it down to the American Pinball Open House last week and really loved what we saw! Great game and a annually refreshing theme that fits in any Tap Room, Brewery or Bar as well as a great home machine with a varied and deep modes and variation!
I’d love to be able to afford one... love even more to have the space for one... but hey thanks for the unboxing, its about as close as I am ever going to get.... love from Spain btw 🇪🇸
Hey Dj. Hope you at least have a spot you can go play at! Even though I have a few pins at home nothing beats playing out with a couple of people!!!! Thanks for watching from beautiful Spain!!!!!
Adding the art down on the apron really makes it a "world under glass". Putting the camera on the PF and turning it around would probably resemble being at festival.
It's not my first..or 20th choice for theme, but I love that American is making such impressive machines. I hope I can play one soon. It looks to be as innovative as Houdini was. Good luck with FlipnOut!
Probably an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is gonna be your friend here, at least giving you enough time to shut the machine down without destroying it. But I agree, pretty lame and glaring design flaw if you ask me.
No- they mean unplugging the BOARD from the machine while the machine is powered on- not the entire machine being unplugged while on. They are simply warning against 'jailbreaking' forced restarts of components.
