I own an h3 and someone at work(cab company) had stolen the 2.5 mm charging cord is there a replacement available to purchase or do I have an expensive paperweight?
I use Savox BTR-155 bluetooth speaker/mic and it works fantastic. It's very rugged. By the way, my BTR-155 doesn't look as beat up as yours even it has lot of hours of use ;)
Hi i bought this but have some problems. When I press, I do not lock in the zello app and you will not get a red round rich in the zello app. Can not imagine what might be wrong. Someone else who has had this problem. I have Android 5.1
would this work on a PC via bluetooth? i'm thinking of using this at work, leave the zello app on my pc, connected to this wanfu h3 so i can go around the work facility with another wanfu h3 on me. would also be great because i could go on lunch break anywhere and i could still be contacted from my office.
Saludos algunos de ustedes me podría ayudar a configurar este mismo equipo con una radio Motorola xpr7550 trato de enlazarlo al realizar las pruebas solo tengo audio en el equipo Bluetooth más no me deja ptt ala otra radio
I was thinking of getting one of these but that volume button totally was a deal breaker. If they are that stupid in button design, I figure the rest is the same.
I bought 3 of these. They all stopped working after the first day. I put them on the chargers and they never worked again. Am I doing something wrong or is the wandfu just garbage?
You know, you could ring out those 2.5mm tip-ring-sleeve signals with a multimeter, then build a cable to do the same thing from off the shelf parts. Just cut the micro USB off one of the thousands of micro-usb to usb-A cables out there, strip it back, and solder it to a TRS cable supplying the same voltage to the same pins. Not that big a deal. It's not so much "proprietary" -- a 2.5mm TRS connector isn't just common, it's ubiquitous -- as it is _nonstandard._ The standard has recently been to use a mini or microUSB for powering from a USB brick. They clearly used a TRS plug because a microUSB is about as durable as a Tiffany egg in a ball mill. USB-C would be a little more durable, but using that connector implies following a USB standard, which it wouldn't. So they used a commonly-available connector that actually has some durability.
+John Hull I gave my Rexon device away to a friend. One week later, he reported the device would not PTT any more. So, I prefer the Wandfu, but there is a newer version of the Wandfu (actually the Dellking device). I'll get this new device soon and make a new review. The new device will be the H4. On the other hand, if you intend to use the H3 also for phone calls, the audio is not clear enough for phone calls. It sounds muffled, but for Zello, it is perfect. Subscribe to the channel, so you are informed when the new H4 is coming out and when I have finished the review video.
