You’re going to love them all! There is something really peaceful and warm about Lily’s face, and the Kpop 3 are just so cute! The clothes they come with are really stylish and mix and match well with pre-existing clothes from the other dolls :3

I only bought Tessa. I do really like Minnie & Tiara too. But RH & SH just overwhelmed me tbh. Like Neon Shadow I only have Mara still want Uma & Harley eventually. Divas only have Sabrina but also want Meline & Ayesha too. JH I didn’t buy Ruby, Skyler & Violet and Karma, Bella, Stella & River. Costume didn’t buy Bella, Violet or Robin. Series 1 SH I didn’t buy Ash, Nicole or Luna. Even PC I think I skipped Finn & Bella. Series 4 RH I only need Coco. I think I counted like 21 dolls I’m behind on. Maria Garcia is way too expensive for me though and luckily I didn’t like the sugar skull makeup (I actually bought the 2022 day of the dead Barbie on Target I think I got her for $60 🤔). Lily Cheng I keep hoping for a sale 🤞🖤❤️. Def 2022 my daughter & I are obsessed with Monster High over all other dolls 😂😉 didn’t buy RH Roxie I keep forgetting that 1. I do really like the Cleopatra omg fierce doll but not for $99.99.
Yeah the sudden influx of dolls being put out from the 3 major lines I actively collected at that time couple with the sudden price hikes means that I got really far behind. I’m behind like the RH costume ball Robin and Violet , all of JH2, and duplicates for dyeing for all of those and most of the Rainbow Vision girls, CB Bella and Lola, Roxie, Maria, and 2 more Delilah,a Georgia, an Avery, and another PC Bella that I’d also like to dye more of. Plus I would’ve loved to dye at least two more Heather and Natasha as well but I can’t slow down enough to backtrack to get more of them. Plus I’m behind like 25 of the Tweens/OMG/Fierce dolls combined and like 10 Barbie Extra. 😭 I absolutely know your struggle!

Thank you! I try to be as thorough as possible and not skip over anything because I know stuff that may seem unimportant to me could be the decision maker to get or not get them for other folks. I try to think of what I’d want to see in a review- a lot of the bigger influencer I’m told tend to just gush about how great something is and that’s the whole of the review. I wanted to suggest listening to some of BTS’ Korean songs. 😊 you can find English translation of the lyrics on the music videos on RU-vid~ I say this because BTS got so popular BECAUSE of their deep/poetic lyrics that go into the struggles of finding self, growing up, social issues etc. Their lyrics and musicality is why they exploded worldwide. ( they are good looking too, but honestly, all K-pop groups need the “looks” requirement to even debut) . Their most recent group songs like Butter or Dynamite are more light hearted and fun. Just sharing for fun- cuz Im not even a kpop stan, but when I listened to a few of their songs (aka watched mv) - it really was moving 🥲

I didn’t expect to get in to kpop but I saw a random news article about someone at an event mispronouncing Stray Kids when introducing them and then a few days later a suggested reel of Felix popped up on my insta and it was so cute I looked them up and immediately fell in love with LaLaLa, Venom, and Red Light especially. Then I’ve been watching nothing but K-dramas lately so I’ve been really getting into their OSTs too. :3

I think the costume girls are Walmart exclusives, but my walmart took forever to get them all! And with Eliza the struggle to find a good face for two of them was harder than I expected >_

They’re cute. I don’t really mind them. I am sad about some of the changes to their personalities more than their looks- except Ghoulia and Clawdeen- the originals were so gorgeous and the new ones look like their jr high versions of themselves. Really they all kind of look like that- the 7th/8th grade versions of the G1 dolls. 😅
I watch the show, but not to see if I like the characters of the dolls. I make my decisions based on how the dolls look. I am an unboxer like you, so I give my dolls the personality that I want them to have. I am concerned about the pleather holding up, but over all I love these three dolls. Hopefully we will get to hear the Kpop girls sing soon.

It depends on the type of hair they have- Saran, kanekalon, and polypropylene don’t take dye. Nylon and kiwi hair dye well. I couldn’t find information on what Baby Alice’s hair is made of and I’ve never owned one, so I can’t advise much on it.
The rhinestones fell off the Tiara’s dress and one of her bracelets broke. I filed a claim with mga and they sent me a new dress and bracelet. I was so worried they wouldn’t accept the claim and I’d be stuck with a dress that only had like half of its gems. I had to return the first Tiara I received because the rooting at the hairline was very sparse and a hair plug was missing in front by her ear. I also had to replace my first Tessa because the tip of the nose was melted flat on the first one I received. My first Minnie was perfect. These 3 dolls I think are beautiful. I finally bit the bullet and ordered Roxie from target using the 25% toy coupon and 10% veteran coupon. I also used circle rewards to help pay. I hope I receive a good one. I wouldn’t have gotten her if I had to pay full price since I think $60 is outrageous. Especially when you look at the royal 3 you have reviewed here and the other rainbow vision dolls and see the quality items they come with at $20 less.
Yeah, all the rhinestones and little silver dots they put on stuff now always worry me because over time the glue degrades, but even at the start, if not enough glue is used to begin with it’ll lead to the problem you had. I cant deal with ordering online more than absolutely necessary because of the high rate of defects on these dolls so for folks that can’t get out to the stores, I can’t even imagine the hassle they have to go through to do returns when something comes that isn’t to the quality expected. :( I can’t even imagine how Tessa’s nose ended up like that!! I’m glad MGA helped you- they seem to be very hot or miss with that sort of thing. I think Roxie’s dress is nice but not super wow. Her face is sweet though in person, like the makeup and everything really is lovely. Her hair depends on how much you like tinsel though lol.
@@DarlingsDollhouse yeah. I was lucky enough with Tessa that I saw the defect right away and was able to do an exchange. My husband just dropped the defective one off at kohls to be returned to Amazon. The replacement I got was good. I try not to file many claims with mga because like you said they are hit and miss. If I notice the defect after the box has been discarded though is when I file. Otherwise it is easier to just exchange. I had a Mara whose head moved weirdly out of the package but I didn’t think anything of it and was just going to accept it. When I went to wash the gel out of her hair though, the head snapped back/off. I filed a claim because the box had gone out in the trash the night before since I thought she was fine. Mga did send me a doll but not Mara so I had to buy another one of her anyway. I will most likely remove the tinsel from Roxie’s hair. I hope I get a good one. I have not seen her in my area so when I saw her become available for shipping again on target’s website I got her instead of another doll I had in my cart.
Same! I only file if I’ve already tossed the box. I’ve seen them send people dolls that weren’t the ones the claimed on and even deny people for the same stuff the approved other folks for so I don’t risk it. I like tinsel so I usually keep it but I removed it from a Margot once and omg, it took foreverrrrrr
