Unboxing and taking the LAB Golf DF3 to the course and comparing to DF 2.1⛳️⛳️!! 

I’m sticking with the DF 2.1 at this point, but did really like the DF3. I fund my own “testing”, so I typically will buy something and then resell it to recoup funds. The look of the DF2.1 is really untenable for most folks, the looks are too crazy. I’ve grown more accustomed to it over time. If you are a newer golfer , I’d say simply find a putter you are comfortable with, like the look of, and like the feel of…and then practice, a lot. The truth is there is no putter that is the absolute magic elixir…everyone can miss makeable 5 foot putts with a $900 custom job or a thrift store find, and you also can make a putt with either option. Outside of 10’ , it as an absolute ocean of 2 putt territory, even for the very best in the world. If you are a newer golfer, I’d prob go to a used golf club store, try a bunch of putters in various lengths and styles, and see what fits your eye and taste (if toe or heel is massively off the ground you may benefit from a fitting)…find a good deal, find a reputable instructor and pay for a 30 minute or 1 hour putting lesson, and then obsess over practicing inside 10’, that’s the crucial area for actually making putts. Verbose but hope that helps, wanted to be thorough!

Thanks for watching and commenting!! I believe I understand what you are asking…my take is you would find the DF3 to lay a bit more “flush” to the ground than the DF 2.1. The Mezz is a pretty solid block compared to the design of the DF 2.1/DF3, so I think you would experience that difference you are speaking of….hope that helps!

@@RodDandyGolf Yes, I prefer the way the Mezz.1 stays put when you lay it on the ground behind the ball and found the D2.1 to not lay flush. (like it has a slight rounded bottom vs. flat). Just to confirm, I think you're saying that the DF3 feels more like the Mezz.1 and lays flat/still when placed behind the ball, correct? Great review by the way!

Thx for watching and commenting! Yes, the size and width of the DF 2.1 is noticeably larger than the DF3, which turns many away from it…both models excel at “forgiveness”. One thing I try to keep in mind, no putter is going to magically make all my putts for me…we all can miss easy makeable putts with a $1500 luxury custom model, or a $30 bargain bin find….there is no magic elixir for making absolutely everything I should make, other than practice and having confidence with whatever putter is being used.
