I have 2 of the Ninja's and have had for about 18 months, they are brilliant. between them and my slow cooker I barely ever use the oven and we are a family of 6.... Enjoy your new toy, brilliant invention .
I have the digital one and to be honest I think they both will do a good job. A couple of times I have cooked joints in the air fryer but have slightly over cooked the joint. But the other week I bought meat probe but one that I can place the probe in the meat set the temperature and when it reaches the temperature I can take out the meat to rest and since using the meat probe no more over cooked meat.
I've got the 7.6l version ( af300uk) I find cooking meats best if the temperature is set to normal oven cooking temperatures ( Chicken 180oC , Lamb 160oC , Fish 180oC , Beef 170oC ) and then know off 30% of the regular oven cooking times . A 1.5kg chicken at 180oC takes 65 minutes for example instead of 1 hour 30 mins - 1 hour 40 mins. A 500g lamb joint 160oC for about 40 mins For chicken , rub lightly with oil , rub with herbs , place breast side down to start, halfway through the cooking time take out then turn breast side up Enjoy .
Well ... I have not yet bought an Airfryer but if anyone can sell me one it's you ! 🤣🙌 I love how excited you are and now I want one 🤣🤣 20 mins is a deal 🙌
The Ninja Airfryer is so popular , just bought my son one for university he is loving it , them sweet potatoes looked delicious ..great video Thank you very much 🇨🇦
Great recipe idea for air fryer I have one suggestion make a new marinade for basting your chicken since your first batch had raw chicken you don't want to contaminate your food but you did a wonderful job on this video
Nice video! I just bought the same model. Very hard to get hold of, but I popped into my local Currys this morning and luckily they’d just received 6 of them so I grabbed one!
Thank you for sharing. I have to confess that I have an air fryer in our cupboard and not used it in 3 years!! You did make me laugh when I saw you washing the chicken with lemons as that is what I do also. I need to make it a mission to use the one we have before investing in a Ninja!
You should get it out of the cupboard. I have been using mine for around two or three years. I find quick as you can cook two things at the same time and not forgetting that the energy that it saves.
I used mines for first time yesterday to make fried chicken and chips. Like you, i have had mines for 3 years. Watching these videos gave me the confidence to use it. I was gonna sell it or give it away until i started watching these videos. Thanks 😊
Hi, I really loved this video and the food looked delicious I am trying to get my hands on one of those airfryers but it's hard finding them. I have a Corsori and while it's great there is only the one drawer so I still have to have my oven on low to keep things warm. I also fold my shopping bags the same way as you it makes it so easy to have one in each of my pockets. Have a great weekend and I'm looking forward to seeing what you decide to cook next. Sarah xx
I have the digital dial one of these. It’s great. I’m probably not adventurous enough but it’s great. Defo 2 zones better as not restricted to one food etc. Also Amazon to silicone trays for this. I’ve baked so much! But cakes are great
Hah! I only just today took delivery of those silicone trays (with handles) from Amazon. So much better than a little bit of parchment paper I've seen some people use on videos. They're a bit small for the AF400UK but fit the smaller AF300UK much better. But I wouldn't swap my 400 for the world!
I have af300 I love it...... Yes needs 5 inches clearance at back for air flow etc it throws out a lot of warm air which is great in my cold kitchen 🤣..two vents at rear!!!! The vents that go all way around are intake I think ones at back expell it.... I think from me feeling it and reading about it... So it needs space.... . Those silicone baskets are awful..omg that looks scummy lovely..... 👌 many months on still loving it ivrn never used its truky sad....it was is new ....but that's life
Just had mine from Argos today the Ninja foodi dual 7 litre version I’ve been checking stock everyday I’ve been trying to get one for weeks I cooked sweet potatoes chips and chicken Kiev just to try very pleased with it so far cooks really quick looking forward to trying some recipes loved your video 👍😊
On a cost saving side ....I worked out to cooked a Sunday roast chicken , roast potatoes in the oven costs about £1.64 ....to roast a chicken and roast potatoes in the Ninja costs about £0.63p
I got the digital one last year that you mentioned in the beginning, and within one week one of the sides stopped working and I had to return it. I bought two cheaper air fryers and have been really pleased with them, plus, even buying two was nowhere near as expensive as just the one ninja.
@@ShadeShannon …I hope you won’t, mine was probably a one off, I’m sorry if I cast a negative feeling over yours, that wasn’t my intention. Love your video 🤗
I don’t recommend washing your chicken due to cross contamination, that water will transfer over to your towel or other kitchen utensils, so please be careful, I’m mostly thinking of salmonella and general bacteria. I also recommend especially if you decide to make fries from scratch to let it soak in water for a few seconds to a min to get rid of that extra starch, after you can just dry them off with a kitchen towel, this way the fries will be extra crispy and in also sprinkle some olive oil for some more color on there ❤ Also if you want them even more crispy I’d suggest using “Extra Crispy” option not “Air fry” therefore your food wasn’t as crispy as you hoped 😊
Brilliant. I've tried for months to get this, went on that app, every time it alerted me I went in immediately, and always out of stock. My small frier stopped working last Thursday, so I ordered another one slightly bigger, next day, every blooming site I had Bern in, messaged to say this dual zone was back in stock. Would love it, but not buying now till my other one stops working. Brilliant video though, loved it. Xx
Food for thought (pardon the pun). I was told that electronic item are already made with a certain life span. We take out extra cover and end up paying years for an item that has out done its time.. I am not discouraging anyone from paying for cover it's just something I was told.
If anyone is still struggling to find a Ninja, Argos has both models in stock from about 9pm tonight, online ordering for collection on fri 2nd Dec at your local branchI have bagged one 👍 Enjoyed your vid.
Great Post Shade we got one of these for our daughters birthday and my mrs wants one and i was going to go one better and get the F450 but with what you said about reliability i get another 400 we have been using the NINJA Foodies for two years now and they are good but this will finish the work top of looking forward to your posts ATB
I have just got the AF451. I have waited a year to get a Ninja dual but they have sold out after two days. I was gobsmacked when I saw it, and it was the last one. I never knew about this AF451, I thought they only did the other ones, so I bought it.
Great video keep them coming, Iv had mine about 5days I got a oil sprayer to coat things I say coat it’s more like a spritz, but give a little extra crisp to things without using loads of oil….also gonna invest in a cheap thermometer
Hi lovely. The ninja looked sublime to use, you should have fun transferring old recipes and creating new ones too. Try tempura flour in place of cornflour for a better crisp! Happy eating lol Leighsha
Babe, love your videos. You need to be careful washing chicken, cooking kills bacteria washing raw chicken will put bacteria into your sink and possibly around the sink area onto worktops etc.
Lol! That's just how black people does it and I'm black too. It's just how we clean meat, we don't want feathers, hairs, blood and that chicken smell from the packaging.
Middle Easterners also wash chicken. Generations back have been doing this and there’s no way I wouldn’t. Obviously, we clean the sink & surrounding areas properly after.
Nothing wrong with washing chicken. Of course if you are waving it and splashing around then maybe. But 99% of people know how to handle food and won't go licking the sink after washing chicken
Shutup already how delusional are you to think you could come to and tell someone to not wash their meat like it’s not a dead animal you haven’t witnessed being killed or cleaned why would she not wash the chicken. If you wanna eat unwashed chicken do so by yourself
I've got the smaller ninja with just one single drawer and omg it's amazing I find i use it all the time, but now I wished I got the dual ninja! Maybe I should invest 🤔 haha!
@@ShadeShannon thanks again for replying back. I can not find the type of Ninja Foodi Max (non digital) anywhere you have right now. Out of stock in so many places. Next year is around the corner. I just wait because i like the one you have. Happy Holiday.
Hey Lennie. I think it was an option when I bought it on the Very website. Perhaps you can find insurance from where you bought it to add on afterwards?
Hallo super Video, eine Frage welche Maschine ist den besser?AF451EU oder AF400EU. Kann mir jemand bitte mal helfen, vielen Dank. Welche ist den das neuere Modell? Mfg
Hi, thanks for the video, I’ve just bought a Af451uk but now I got negative feeling about it. What do you think? Should I cancel my order and buy AF400?
Maybe try it but make sure to get the warranty / insurance on it. But some people have a really good experience with it so you never know. My AF400 has been great so far 🤞🏽
I had an air fryer before, the problem is cooking anything fatty, the fat will spit everywhere and smother the healing element, and the heating element is impossible to clean
Can you please try and no use oil. I get it, I was sceptic but you genuinely don’t need it, I don’t know how but it makes things just taste the same as they would if they were cooked with oil. I wasn’t convinced before I got my first air fryer years ago but it really is the whole truth 😂
I have been thinking to get one of these, good to find your channel. Please tell us more about this air fryer is it easy to clean and when it cooked what it tastes like? Thanks for sharing 👍
You have to full out a your air frier out of the wall so the air coming out of the back had a bit of ventilation... I just watch less than 30 seconds of your vlog and i can tell , you need to learn a lot in kitchen. 😅
Try one of the stock tracking sites or apps. They run in the background on your computer or phone and constantly check for stock, and will send you a loud noise or a notification when they come in somewhere.
@@soniaramsay those are from scalpers who are doing exactly what I said to do and then charging you a premium for it. Just do what I said and you can pay the same as everyone else does.
Yeah, that's old school thinking....... Recent recommendations are you shouldn't wash chicken as bacteria way be spread around your sink, taps, worktops, etc. Here in UK we did used to wash chicken then spend twenty minutes cleaning everything after it, so nowadays..... out of the package and into the airfrier. We got AF400 three months ago and have hardly used the oven since..... it's magic!
It's a small, powerful oven so whatever you cook in your oven, you can cook in an airfrier. The twin drawers hold all the food and liquids inside and a quick soak, rinse and ready to go again!
