If apple wants to put the price way higher then i expect it to be more better and most of the time its not . For anyone wondering, this goes all the way back to last year. I think it started in February or March when there was those photos of him in a nice suite leaving the Federal building in San Francisco from TMZ and all they asked him was “How did it go up there?” And he didn’t say anything. Well the guy next to him was Wilson Sontini, one of the best lawyers in Silicon Valley. Then April 1st, 2019 TMZ tweeted about unbox therapy and Apple reaching a settlement but was deleted the next day. Long story short, Lew signed a gag order on saying anything negative about all apple products but can still review them otherwise he’d have to pay millions in damages.
Is apple really stupid? Think about it there charging $129 for a cable they make in small quantities that come with their 5k monitors. They make a couple extra and sell they for top dollar knowing someone will buy them.

I may be incorrect, but I have heard that this cable is actually at quite a reasonable price. This is because data transfer cables with super high bandwidth usually drops off with the length the of the cable making cables that don't lose bandwidth with length extremely pricey. So it's possible that this is the only reasonably priced apple product.

It is an active braided 2m cable which supports 5k screen as well as 40 GBPS transfer speed, this isn't your charging cable, you can run an External GPU with these. These kind of cables normally comes around $80 but they aren't braided and are passive, this is an active one with amplifiers on both side. You find me such a cable under $130 and we will see who is the stupid one here. Blame apple for their stupid wheels not these.

ITS TRUE. I mean the stand is expensive and those wheels for the Mac Pro... Apple knows costumers are stupid and buy this kind of stuff, of course apple’s product have good quality and design, but the price is big. iPhone isn’t that expensive. Yes, 1500$ is a lot for the Max 512gb version, but every company does that. I mean, the Samsung s20 ultra is the same thing, 1600$ for a snapdragon, but more for their piece of crap of exynos. iPhones have the fastest cpu on market from the newest phone, one of best cameras, design and OS. In my opinion iphones are very good and worth the money, but the other products are just too expensive quality products for idiots who are rich.

It has some of the best cameras and a beautiful design. The battery on iPhone lasts longer then the s20 ultra. It’s actually not that absurd. That is a TB3 cable capable of 40Gbps data speeds over *2 meters* (6.6 feet). Apple has a 0.8 meter equivalent (without braided sleeve) for $50. Go find the alternative cable. It will be ~$80 bucks on the low end, and maybe it doesn’t even deliver the spec it claims

I was about to buy an iPhone SE now I'm going with Pixel 4a so I don't get sucked into the expensive Isheep ecosystem. (Also the 4a has a bigger battery, a modern design that's not off 5 years ago, a headphone jack, 128GB at the base model and instant updates from Google with a headphone jack too)
