Like he said, you can shoot your AR and AK with same ammo. Now a days this is a very good investment. I have the milled and AKM version with folding stock. Glad I picked these up when they were $800/1,000. Had them 10/12 years. Picked up the mags when they were $20. All of these are great investments.
I just picked up one. I like the way it shoots but like you said the finish is not so good. Not like my WBP or even Zastava, or my other 2 builds but it runs like a champ. I need to get a adjustable gas piston as it throws casings like 25'! I love it though.
Awesome brother! Wow $1679 ? 🤯 You did score!!! Glad to hear! 👍🏻💪🏻👊🏻 I tell ya, I just don’t see the market settling down very much. I have a feeling the prices we have been seeing over the last year/ pre CV One Niner is the new market value of firearms & ammo in the twenty twenties. Especially, the imported firearms & ammo… 😔 I hope I’m wrong! It’s such a volatile world we are living in nowadays.
Local store happened to have one, traded a couple of much beloved but seldom shot milsurps for it though so far it seems the sacrifice was not in vain (plus I don’t have $1,800 to throw around lol)
Yeah, I know these are true Bulgarian imports. I know the difference between parts kit and imports. Now, me conveying that clearly on video is a completely different story… 😉👍🏻👊🏻
Nice Vid man. I have one of these myself but been debating about putting a 24mm fsb on mine. Anyway shoots great does well in the snow and mud(yeah, I threw it around) and never an issue. It is expensive but you get what you pay.
I know the feeling! I had to look at it as an investment, because I know they will more than likely be worth 3k by the end of the year. If not more with all of the craziness going on in the world right now.
@@HillbillyNitroUSA Haha yeah I broke down and put it on layaway. At least try to ease the cost over 90 days.Instead of all at once.Exactly why I pulled the trigger on getting it, I know it will be worth way more in the future.
I heard from a Gunsmithing pal that it’s definitely not worth above $1000. And I did some research, and there’s some issue involving the bolt stem and gross overgassing (more than usual).
That's a beauty! Built like a tank and will outlive you. Arsenal quality is the best. No other rifle can compare as far as reliability goes. All you have to do is watch the Ukranian fighters take the AK to unbelievable conditions. Enjoy it in good health friend! Thanks for the video!👍
I agree... but those looking at this are fans of the AK style rifle but want it in the 556 caliber. At least that is why I am considering buy it. So, if you look at it like that... it is about the same price as a quality Daniel Defense rifle.
Good Bulgarian set! I love Makarov, although it is already morally obsolete. P.S. It seems that the quality of detail processing in the civilian versions is lower than in the combat versions. I have a friend, a former police officer from the Bulgarian police, and he owns AR-M5F fully automatic - there the machining of details is significantly better. He also has a Bulgarian Arcus 98DA pistol, also a very well made and reliable, solid gun, like the Makarov. They are partially beginning to displace Makarov, here in Bulgaria. Arcus is the second most popular pistol in Bulgaria, after Makarov on this moment. Arsenal developed a modern replacement for Makarov (Arsenal P-M02) many years ago, but I don't see it often, even here in Bulgaria.
