I’ve had a 940 for a very long time, but despite some very strong competition (Rocksteads, CRKs, Medford’s, other BMs) it still gets more pocket time than almost anything else.

Love me some 940 action! I got my first 940 this year in the standard green aluminum satin blade. Just a classic design and I couldn’t be happier with it!

I got the same one, because the 940 is just too big for office carry, and I just wanted the option, however, I’m waiting for it to become available in the custom shop to upgrade the steel and scales. Then I might actually carry it!

I've had only the 940-1 since it came out. I'm anxiously awaiting a 945-1 in CF S90 trim.

Have a standard 940, bought it for the looks and as being a classic, and I love it. It isn’t the best in any specific category, but all the positive aspects ( like cutting-edge/ length ratio, weight, ergonomics etc.) together make it the perfect EDC according to me. Despite some QA issues my dealer had to take care of.

I have always really liked the look of the 940 although as yet I have still to handle one. The mini version looks great for folk with smaller hands like me. Yep, it’s a winner in my eyes 👌🏻

I EDC the 940 in the classic ODG. Carried it for a few years now. I have a 943 and I picked up the 945 in ODG when it became available. The 945... just because.

I have the blue and blacl mini, it's really great. Light in the pocket and very sharp. Ive only used mine to cut boxes and open packages, but it does so without issue. It really is a great little knife. Makes me want to buy the normal size since this one is just a little smaller than I thought, but it is always good for outside carry when you dont need a huge knife on you.

That red handle looks great, I’d love to have one in red. The 940 is so small, I don’t think I’d like the 945. Only one way to find out though… Thanks for the video.

I got the black/blue version for fathers day and I carry it often. So so fidgety. I did sharpen it though. The factory edge was good but I though it could be better. It's a little razor in my pocket now. Great knife

The green color varies on 940s even when they're brand new. I guess anodizing is hard to 100% match every time.

Got the green and black 945. Sweet blades both of them. Got cut by each of them doing the blade swing back thing. I don't do that anymore.

Nice collection guys🔥🔥🔥don't feel bad I am the most uncool here due to I have yet to get a a Benchmade other than the Presidio CF elite. Haha I have been tempted to get the 940 lately tho but I just keep seeing other makes and models that push Benchmade just outside the circle of thought 🤯I do think I will get one this year tho, hopefully 🤞😂hava awsome Thursday guys and keep that glass half full peeps 🍻🍻luvn that collection without a doubt 🔥

I’m really considering buying the 940 but I can’t bring myself to pay that much for it. I do like how the 945 looks and the price. But if it’s as small as the mini grip. I don’t think id like it.

I got the Benchmade 945BK-1 (black/ blue) on sale for $129 a few months from Blade HQ. It was my most disappointing purchase this year. Felt cheap and flimsy compared to 940 series. I think alot has to do with the thin blade stock and light weight handles. Also seemed to have overly thick washers, which may also add to its flimsiness/flex. Traded it for a Spidy Q-Ball less than a week later and couldn't be happier!

The green and purple is awesome. it looks even better in person once I seen it and felt it.I don’t think I will change them out.have not had too much pocket time with it. Great edc. Benchmade was a good kinfe company ,I dont know when the quality went away, the last one I bought was the OTF Infidal the knife is not usable. I talked to some dude at Benchmade and he said there was nothing wrong with their knives. I wont purchase another Benchmade there are far better knives out there!
