My father had this set back then. I know this because we have the baseplate and it only appears in this set. Today I rebuilt the station using new and old parts from our Lego boxes. But without garage doors and original windows and doors.
I had this set as a kid and I still own it. It´s complete (only exception: the big sticker is missing). If you turn around the window at the ground floor by 180°, you will be able to open the front door. See manual 😉
As a kid, I had only a couple of Lego sets. One that I had was the 1985 version of fire station. In my opinion it looks like the 1981 station, just slightly updated and better. There was a tower in it (to dry out the firehose?). No room to sleep to my recollection, but there was a woman with a computer, probably sending the fire trucks on their way.
I had the same one still keeping it since 1984 but mine is in a bad condition it's really awesome old set lego and brings sweet memories of my childhood
@@henrysvintagetoys no dude… it’s a real Lego for real kid version of me back then still have the manual but pieces are mixes thousands of others in a giant bunch of creative tools at my mom for my nephews XD it s how it should be isn’t it XD
I also suspect that when I look at the most recent sets...My next fire station set will be set 374 from 1978 , so I will also post a video of that in the future! Thanks for you nice comment!
I presume you mean that in a friendly way? 🙂 Because I'm from Belgium and my English isn't perfect, I do it this way with a programmed voice. For English speakers this may sound a bit strange, but that way non-native speakers can also enjoy my videos. And as a result, the automatic translation function in the subtitles can also be turned on, so that you can also translate the subtitles into another language without errors. Even Chinese!
