Hello Rob, and thanks for this video. It's pretty unusual to unbox 5 watches. That was nice to look at. Especially because, even if I'm not a diver fan, the two ones I prefered were the last two diver watches. 😅
C63 Colchester is a no brainer if you are into military watches. CW's CEO Mike France said in an interview that they designed that one for para-troopers. The hidden crown is a feature so that it doesn't dig into your wrist when you're dangling from an open parachute. I wasn't aware that it had a carbon case, quite awesome. @Random Rob, if you are interested in their bronze watches, they recently released a full bronze case and bracelet in their C65 line up. I love that blue bezel with blue dial on the bronze Aquitaine, though.
I have 3 CW’s and love them all! The one Rob likes is the the Lympstone that they did for the British Royal Marines. It’s PVD coated GunMetal Gray, I’ve had my eye on it for awhile and the fact that it’s his fav helps confirm maybe it will be my 4th!
The blue gree Atoll looks really good, although the colour matching of the rubber may be a bit off on screen? However, if I had money to put towards one, I'd go with the Twelve. That is a style I can see myself wearing regularly.
Being a connoisseur of no-date mechanicals I would have to agree with the Royal Marines choice of this bunch. Overall I'm really impressed with Christopher Ward.
The Twelve is most interesting to me, followed by the bright blue diver. I tried both on at Windup Chicago last summer and they were great. I've got a distinct feeling I may end up with a Twelve this year, depending on what is released by the big boys at Watches & Wonders.
Damn CW make some gorgeous watches. Looked long and hard as the C60 Lympstone (the one with the inner rotating compass) on a strap with orange accents but felt it's probably too big for my skinny wrist. Never noticed the C63 Colchester (carbon case) before but that might be more my size. Tempted.
I have owned the royal marine for 3 years now. Fantastic watch, the accuracy is top notch also 600 meters water resistant. My only complaint is the weight.
Right now I have 4 CW watches... Looking at narrowing it down to 3, one from each Section... * C60 Atoll Reef Blue * C60 Sapphire Blue * C63 Sealander Blue * C65 Aquitaine Blue Deciding which of the C60s to keep or sell... Heading towards the Atoll... What do you think?
Hi Random Robb. Love the content. are you selling anyone of them? I really think they are awesome. I would really like to buy one from you!! I really like them!! I can directly email you!!! Please let me know!! You have an excellent line up!!
If you are bored with any of the three divers please send it over after you’re done with review. Especially the blue one… signed: your watchless nephew from overseas.🤤🙏🏻😘
am i the only one who have zero interest in CW watches, i know they have a cult of followers and claim CW is best in micro, but the brand simply got nothing that interest me
I was in same boat. Was kinda put off by their various logos on the dials. But the more I read and watch on RU-vid the more I'm warming up to them. They are putting latest SW300 into some of their watches. Lume is good. The Twelve is finished really well, with pretty nice looking dials, I really want one. I hope they keep expanding that series. I like that they come out with new stuff a lot and have a big community, makes for a fun brand to follow.
