In this unpacking video I show a series model of an adult toy in a scale of 1 to 32. It is a steam locomotive of the class 64, handcrafted from brass. Its model was delivered a total of 520 times from 1928 to 1940.
Kiss Modellbahnen Germany produced the steam locomotive, which weighs just under 4.5 kilograms, in 17 variants exclusively for BMB Bee's model railway (BeesModellBahn). The 64 001 seen here was built in 1927/28 and staged in its final operational phase according to epoch IIIb. It has a length over buffers of just under 388 mm.
An optional brass replica of a snow plow is also available as an accessory for these models. You can see them in action from minute 34 and second 44 in this video.
After I am repeatedly asked about the prices of the models I present - BMB has offered this locomotive model with NEM wheelsets at a list price of 2790 euros. Two snow plows could be ordered for a set price of 50 euros.

The class 64 model was originally announced in May 2021 as a project by MBW Spur 0 Modellbahnen and I filmed a test drive of the first production model at the Spur1-Tage trade fair in Mellrichstadt in December 2022. This video can be seen here:
• Probefahrt Baureihe 64...
However, MBW Spur0 GmbH no longer exists and the locomotive project has been continued by the company BMB BeesModellbahn since spring 2023.
The production was ultimately carried out exclusively for BMB by the company Kiss Modellbahnen Deutschland.
