Someone told me once that when Shimano, Daiwa, etc. doesn't include a split ring or snap on a lure it's because they want you to tie direct. Not sure if that's true or not, but I could totally see some designer wanting to dictate the lure presentation all the way down to how it gets tied on.

I am excited to try the slobberknocker. I lose a ton of chatterbaits to unseen wood in the river. Fingers crossed it really does come through wood better!
I like the Berkley jigs that are scent infused, so I can't wait to get some Slobberknockers to try. And I have family in Okoboji so Im up there quite a bit and go to pure fishing outlet store and can get those jigs for like 2 bucks in their sale stuff.
That all black chatterbait is sick. I have recently become a believer in all black jigs (no flake), because I think it's a color that should work well in both clear and dirty water. In dark water it has the silhouette of course. It seems counterintuitive for clear water, but if you think about it, you do see a lot of black in nature--accents on crawfish, leeches, spots on shad and other baitfish, snakes, etc.
first off you know my stance on the hula stick, been preaching that for the past few years and second, those mini d chunks do work. Ive been very happy with those.
I like the shimano popper and yum jc Shad looking bait . I picked me up a shimano popper and my vixen . Can’t wait to throw them . All the baits look great . I kinda had problem with slobberknocker getting skirt straight , wanting clump up but did like the action . Great video
The home run bait is most definitely the Matte Black Jack Hammer with that junebug trailer followed by the dark black/blue/purple slobber knocker. Great vid Debo, cool baits!

I used to fish the popper all the time! Haven’t utilized it enough in recent years-because I generally don’t like treble hooks on kayaks. 😜 The Shimano popper looks cool to me!
I like the slobberknocker. I am not confident in a chatter bait to get me a fish. In order to do that I have to drag one through the wet forest I fish. Less wood hangups sounds great.

I really like the Evergreen kicker bug. Like you said it’s going to do awesome on the free rig but could also be sneaky sweet on a ned head or Tokyo rig. Thanks again for all you do and showing us your sweet new lures.
The Shimano World Pop is pretty cool to me, but that PowerStinger with the honeycomb back section looks interesting as well. Thanks for doing these videos!
I picked up one slobberknocker and caught 25 fish in an hour before I lost it. Haven’t had an outing like that all year, already ordered more. Used a zoom craw trailer.
Some nice looking baits. My favorite are the A3 baits. If they float like Z-Man then they would be a great Ned bait. They would also be great on a scrounger head jig. Thanks for sharing with us your new lures. Tightlines and cheers 🍻 my friend.
that coleslaw slobberknocker looked great but I'm really liking that JDM matte black jackhammer. Might have to just place an overseas order if I can find one

Alot of cool looking new baits. Another great video 🎣🙂 I'm most interested in trying the sloberknocker and the bugs at the end of the video look great (I've had great success with Yamamoto flapping hog which looks similar)

aint no shame in the drop shot game, once i had a fish broke off i went back in with the same setup dropped it rite back down same spot and caught the same fish, took both hooks out and realsed it it was like a 3lber, one of my highlights i remembered. GREAT TIMES!@!!!
I want to see what kind of trail that crazy looking double bladed buzz bait leaves. I'd also like to see how those hula-stickz look on a Ned rig. Will a 4 inch bait like that fit ok on an EWG Ned or would it need to be trimmed down a bit?
I gotta say the Evergreen Kicker Bug caught my eye the most out of the box. I find myself buying more JDM baits lately. The Japanese just have such good craftsmanship.

I’ve had good luck in the River here with the little Popper and the Shimano I think would work great, I’ll have to research those absolutely. I also have had amazing Luck with the Yum Dingers. I’m so anxious to try the new mini chatter baits and really great Guy sent me.
