Thanks, Pheas! Including a tracer in the hop unit is a really neat feature. I know a lot of people won't like it and that it will add cost and more to repair but this is something I'd like to see more CQB-oriented replicas include, even if it's a cost option over buying a discrete unit.

Had mine (AK-74, it's extremely long) since around the start of January this year and it's already developed selector issues since (stuck in auto), the ETU is also extremely fussy and will kick off your auto while vibrating the moment it thinks your batteries are getting low which is a massive pain. The hop is a little strange and I can't get it to play nice with 0.28g ammo (it's either underhopping or slightly overhopping, can't get it just right) and when I tried to change the rubber over to your average ML macaron they've locktighted/glued the clip + unit to the barrel so you can't get it apart without applying heat (which you don't want to do because the tracer's board is right there) Excluding my (pretty admittedly large amount of) issues it's been a solid performer on both 1400 7.4v and 1200 11.1v which both fit in the gas tube nicely, it fires lovely and smooth with a nice ROF and seems to feed fine from my CYMA 200rd 7.62 midcaps (shown at 9:48), just wish it had a dovetail for mounting a sight rail instead of forcing you to go down the rabbit-hole of ordering a railed dustcover just to mount optics in a proper position (as front mounting just looks ugly imo) Will probably get mine sent off for work eventually to put something optical with an adjustable selector (such as an aster) to fix the firemode issues I'm having, alongside a longer barrel and a different unit to fix my hop problems (will keep the tracer barrel/hop setup handy however for nighttime games) Just thought I'd throw my two cents in over around four months of ownership to anybody who'd be interested in picking one up themselves - if you could also see if it'd accept different stocks @Pheas Airsoft if you've got any laying around (folding buffertubes, solid stocks etc) to save me ordering one from abroad with the chance of it not fitting that'd be fantastic! Great review bro 👊🏻 just ordered myself one tonight, can't wait for it to arrive! Really glad to see the engineers thought about battery placement as i bought a Specna E12 PDW and they clearly never put a battery in it themselves. ROF looks awesome! Can i ask a favour which 11v battery you'd recommend for it, that one you said was a win for you?

Have you ever thought about reviewing E&L AKs? They are 100% steel and wood/polymer, depending on the model. Most realistic AKs you can get.
