I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your videos. You give me so many ideas! I live in Ecuador (BUT I'M FROM DETROIT!) where I don't have craft supply stores so I appreciate that you make many things from found materials. I also love that you have stories about the residents of your dollhouse. I recently finished working on a study for my dollhouse, where I made and installed a bearskin rug and a couple of mounted heads (a deer and a bighorn sheep). I don't like the idea of killing animals for sport. I found myself asking, "What was I thinking when I rented to this guy?" Keep up the good work!

That is such a wonderful Mother's Day gift. I was admiring the delicate ribbons and those unusual flowers on the cardstock. So much fun is in store for you! Enjoy, and share what you do with the 2 dolls. The kneeling girl would work to be babysitting a few toddlers as they play on the floor with blocks, etc., or perhaps petting one of the dogs or cats.

The little kneeling doll could be working on the hem of a dress or be kneeling down to look a child in the eyes or getting something off a lower shelf (or tucking in the sheets , while making up a bed).

I’m in the U k & recently was gifted by my sister a dolls house my Dad made about 40 years ago , ( so it’s extra special to me ) Edwardian 1910 style English house . I’m a creative person so making miniatures really appeal to me , looking forward to ideas for projects .Thanks for all that you share .👏

Gretchen, your tutorials have been wonderful to me, I have learned so much from you. I bought my dollhouse for myself for my 50th birthday present to myself because I always wanted one. wow what a job it has been building this house but what fun and I'm so proud of myself. it took me about 7 years to finish the outside but as you all know the inside is the most fun. I make a lot of my own things because my imagination goes crazy also. right now I'm redoing the bathroom and was trying to figure out how to make towel bars and pretty bath mats and you had the answer to both, cant wait to get started. until next time, Kerry

Beautiful gift Gretchen, those wedding dresses are perfect. Is the sitting little girl strung in the hip joints? You could make up a pair of standing legs if she is and use her in different scenes in the different poses? Thats probably what I would do so she could be used in different scenes. She's so pretty its a shame to limit her.

If you need advice how to wire those lights, I would love to help. You’ll have to learn how to solder and use shrink tubing. I created and wired MOST of my lights for my dollhouse. (about 15 or so) I wired them in parallel and connected them to fairy light battery packs with on/off switches. They work great! Now I’m putting on faux stone and faux clapboard siding and hiding the wires underneath the exterior treatments. It was a learning process, but I conquered it. (ALL BY MYSELF! LOL)
