Love the review 👍 unfortunately I live in SCOTLAND so I won't be in the running to win this "BOSS" scooter, but I have to leave my comments on the Varla Pegasus and I feel that this product has really hit the all-round mark and the decision to go for the hard non-puncture Tyres makes this essential feature packed design a real prospect even for beginners. I really want to purchase 1 and after I have enough saved or the price is reduced I will own one. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😉

Solid tires/48v/dual 500w this thing is basically an updated/better version of the Widewheel Pro. It's like a Zero 8x younger brother(solid tires/52v/dual 800w)

I really like the styling of the scooter. It has a bit of an Akira motorcycle look to it, which is really cool. I mean, Kaneda and his boys would definitely beat you up for riding it, but it’s got that neo-Tokyo vibe IMO.

What happens if the tires wore out? Replace the whole motor or do they sell tires? Looks like a pain to change.

You would have to change them. Changing solid tires can definitely be painful.

That folding latch is good hover one had it on their m365 clone and it never gave the problems genuine m365s had.

This has a lot of the features that's already on the Inokim Quick4/Oxo (stem lock, throttle, grips, display etc). Looks nice though 👍

Another epic video from a place a mile closer to the sun than I am here by the ocean! Questions, turning radius the same for each direction? Do you like the stem clamp mechanism? How about the display after using it in the evenings? What about the lights? Bright? and braking, dual drum? Cheers from Victoria BC Canada...also how long did it take to charge using the portable battery? I would have thought it would take hours.... :)

Looks like a modified nanrobot lightning with an lcd screen but without an electric horn or turn signals. It's also a lot cheaper too.

Hey Jimmy, i have a question for you. I am in the market for a scooter but i am a complete novice. I was in DC over the 4th weekend and used some of the rental scooters there and saw the potential for one. What would be a good starter one to look at with decent range and for someone over 250lbs. Not too worried about speed versus having the range. I have been checking out your videos and figured why not ask your opinion. Hope you and the family are well. -Barthel

For a 28mph scoots looks really cool and if i was in the market for ones I'd be all over this. Im more of a trigger throttle fan myself but that screen is pretty baller. Also what happened to the previous specs

Trigger throttle can cause a lot more accidents than thumb though dont you think? Even if its more comfortable and more accurate I prefer the thumb for safety reasons. I dont ever want a chance of mistaking my throttle for break in a crucial moment.

They are 8 inches in circumference and 3.5 inches wide. They are much better than most solid tires I've felt.

Confused about your "suspension being hard" comments? Looks like at least the back is fully adjustable judging by the threads? Maybe that would make the solid wheels perform better than say, the wide wheel pro. 🤔

You are correct. It's a ebike display. The PAS is more speed setting for the scooter.

So I just now, today 9/04/2021, got mine in. Havnt road it cause it has been raining lightly off and on. I'll be doing a review on it as well. Altho the only thing I don't like (but seems to be an improvement vs the eagle one) is the way you get to duel motor or single motor.

received and assembled the pegasus today. rides really rough (compared to the eagle) seems to be caused by imperfections in the rear wheel (constant jolting varies with speed) seems like poor quality control with wheel manufacturing. I didnt expect it to be as smooth as pneumatic tires but when I ride on smooth pavement, I expect it to be smoother than what im actually experiencing. if ride quality of the eagle were 5 stars, the pegasus would rate at about 2 stars for lack of precision in the wheels resulting in a very rough thumpy ride

I own both. Eagle one is much, much faster and better suspension BUT has pneumatic tires and I've gotten 2 flats.

Awesome video and thanks for sharing! I'd be very curious to know if it follows the Varla's trait with strong off a full charge with a huge drop off in speed once that battery gets down to about 75% or not.. That was something the varla owners griped a lot about on just how fast the speed dropped as the battery depleted

I did a max speed test and the scooter only dropped a few mph after it went to 80% It was still allowing me to travel at 25 mph right before it died on me.

@@toyotatrd it really depends on what you're looking for. If you're not mechanically inclined and not close to a place that does tire changes, it's a great choice. I don't suggest this scooter in highly populated areas like NYC because it's not as nimble.

Scooter was weak. No air tires was weak. Tires to small pot hole and you wreck. Deck too skinny. But best thing i saw was the solar generator. I liked that

My 11 year old son loves his 20mph e-scooter, so I've been looking for a thumb trottle scooter with solid tires and a higher payload capacity. So, it seems like the Varla Pegasus is an Varla Eagle One that's customized for my needs and wants since I'm a noob. The Varla Eagle One seems like a pro scooter. IMO #Varla

Ahh nice design at a nice price! Too bad its under 30mph -the one thing no one ever mentions is you lose key mph from both weight and also wind resistance - after 5 years of riding I’d say the an adult is gonna wana go at least 25 up a hill = which would require top mph /power of 33/35mph - but this looks like a great competitor for an entry level commuter scooter :)

@@Andrew-vt4jt that's awesome.. the Lightning is an awesome scooter. Very low maintenance, electronic braking is so strong it saves you on brake pads. Never have to worry about checking tire pressure or flats. In fact I was so impressed by it that I bought a second one. 🤘 Interested to see the Pegasus. Because the price is so right I will probably end up buying one also
