I have a black Spector like yours. It has a 9v battery and is made in Korea, so I think it's a Legend. I want a white Spector like yours because I might copy you, and because I saw Geezer Butler with one in the late 80s. He also mentioned in an interview that his Spectors from that time were heavy, and bothered him after a while.
Thanks for this walkthrough! These PJ Spectors have a tone that reminds me of Geddy’s tone, yours especially with the drive on it. Glad to hear they weigh less than a Jazz. I just ordered one of these to replace my jazz. Nice playing too!
Hi! These is probably one of the best reviews of these bass on RU-vid. Bought these bass after it in black color. I love the sound but noticed that if you turn off just one tone knob for bridge pickup (or neck pickup) completely, the tone of other pickup is also turned off automaticaly. So you cannot play with just one pick-up tone opened and the second fully closed. They are connected somehow. So I do not understand what is the purpose of having two tones, spector could just make common jazz bass scheme. Sorry for my English, not my native language )

You are genius. You make a Spector with basically EMG pups sound like a ric. Or maybe it's because you are the bass diva ! :) I almost orgasmed when you tuned the G string. :) And yes If you store it, the battery will leak and destroy everything. Ask me how I know. And that bass looks better when you are wearing it.

I still love it. I have not played it as much as I would like, my intent was for it to go with me to open mics and fill-ins 'cause it's so lightweight and rock-solid. Whenever shows become a thing again I dearly want to take it on a stage. It has a very nice crisp sound.
