I am probably weird, but I like the patina that comes with the higher carbon steels. I'm new to the channel, I think I will hang around for a while. Keep up the good work!

And im fine with patina but this knife is a gift for my Dad so I’m protecting it so it stays nice for him!

My Stretch2 K390 has a really cool rainbow’ish patina effect from using it on food. I’ve had it for a year, and I’ve used on everything from food to work ( hvac: cutting rubber, drywall, vinyl, foam, wood, ect ) and it’s still sharp!! I haven’t sharpened it or stropped it yet. K390 is awesome steel. I want Spyderco to make it other knives besides the LW’s, say Sage 5 g10, PM 2&3.

Sick choice! I really like the performance from K390, but the climate I’m in just doesn’t help at all lol. The liners in my Stretch are completely rusted out. I gotta take it apart and clean one day…

Yeah thats not their standard logo design. They just put their name in those styles for their promotional stickers at the time. I think they look kinda dumb but I respect the fact that they aren’t just sending the same exact sticker everytime. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was like $100, Im pretty sure I said the exact price in the video. But this is a model thats being discontinued so its being sold at a big discount, most likely the same price I paid last year.

You gotta follow the big knife dealers, they are always having sales on spydercos at huge discounts. Just have to look around. Amazon is never the best price when it comes to knives

Thanks for replying. I found it for just under 100 at KnifeCenter. Stoked to be getting this blade shape in this steel, too bad it’s getting cut (pun not intended, but I’ll leave it in) from the roster.
