I year ago today I bought the Larue 6 ARC upper they had for sale for $799. I couldn't have bought anything better. I was new to ARs I spent 2 months debating on which cal and manufacturer. It was literally life changing. I put down 47 hogs and 1 coyote in last 12 months with my ARC / Infiray Rico 35G between Abilene and Sweetwater around I20. Lower I run Larues MBT 2STAGE with Griffin Armament buffer system with a Tubbs flatwire spring. Believe it or not that spring made a big difference in tone when I've got a can on it. I have some health issues and I'm usually a 1.5 - 1.75 MOA with it. I've put approx 1500 rounds through it. No shit I've had only 2 problems. 1. Larue sent it without installing a ejector and Spring, 2. The 17 round Mag Lanier mag was S/÷$t! That it came with. Larue overnighter they missing ejector and it hasn't had a misfeed since I trashed the Lanier. It's whisper quite, has almost the same recoil as my Griffin .300 AAC With subs. Here's the good part. My Frenemy had me build a 6Arc with a proof 18" last October so we went to Abilene Gun Club and we shot both. I had him shoot 3 / 3 shot groups 1. At 200yds 2. At 100yds. With the Hornady 105 Factories. Turns out with him shooting 9 shots total he averaged .53 MOA with my Larue .94 with his new Proof. He's amuch better shot than me for health reasons. I spent a lot of time at the range last summer and there's no adjustments ever needed for suppress. I use the HORNADY APP 4Dof and Group analysis with every trip. I've got photos to images to prove all of this. Longest shot I made was 313yds with my IRAY. HE also poked one 361yds with mine. 1 week after I got mine they were out of stock then had some for a bit but they raised the cost on them to $1299 . It's a truly amazing machine. I'm 43 and grew up watching THE OUTDOOR CHANNEL, THE OUTDOOR NETWORK FOR years. I've never seen anything like it. The backstory is actually crazier than the video it's self. At 2:30 am I was alone There's no sound, I'm in the middle of nowhere North of I20 around Trent, TX. I was in my Truck and video not one but atleast 3 coyotes that surrounded me. I didn't shoot for some unexplainable reason and I drove off and left them. I switched colors several times. Be a cause of my health h I'm not sure how long I'll be around. Correction is not a LANIER mag, it starts with an L. But it wasnt myy rifle the mag has something F'd about it. TRASH. ASC works flawless so does DURA, and Stoners. Ive got 11 mags from 5 - 27. Never had a single misfeed with any i usually run 10 or 15 rdrs while hunting. I generally get off 4-7 shots on large groups.
