I was sent a box of Magic cards. Didn't know what was in it, but I opened it with my dad after we recorded some podcast commercials. It was a gift some someone named Oliva #CrimsonVow
I know you were bummed about your last guest bailing on you, but the last two videos have been extremely enjoyable to watch and brought me lots of laughs.
Ricks basically responsible for me getting back into Magic, and I saw King Crimson for the first time this year, and those are the two things I love about this video.
Same but he’s the reason I started playing at all! Hadn’t played before watching him, then after seeing Cassius on here and 2 bears I was sold to give it a shot
@@neighborbruce all children show their parents what their interests are, bit seems that sometimes the parents had bad parents themselves and try to relive their childhoods through their children. It is up to children to end the trauma in their bloodline if their parents cannot unless the parents are abusive in any way. Thoughts bruce?
@@mamed5562 agreed about breaking the cycle, but he shouldn't put it on himself to try and fix his dad's negativity. If he wants to give it a shot, sure! But he shouldn't feel obligated to do so.
@@neighborbruce that mentality sounds like it comes with some experience unfortunately. Gotta heal and love the bloodline. Your ancestors would have wanted it that way my brother
Listening to Roll Tide underneath this made it even more exciting :) I never quite got into magic, but a few friends did back in the day. I was always jealous... parents bought me baseball cards. Those same parents that watch NCIS... or CSI... or SVU...ha!
That's great! I'm building my Crimson Vow set still. I'm only missing a few rares and I'll have a complete set. The set before, Midnight Hunt, was also pretty cool. Both sets take place in Innistrad, one of my favorite planes in MtG. If you haven't already, I think you might enjoy playing Commander. It's a very fun format among friends.
I just found your content recently and it’s awesome, I’m a big mtg and comedy fan, so you’re perfect! Crimson Vow is when I got into Magic so this vid is awesome. I’ve never commented this to anyone, and I am confident you don’t have any interest in it, but if you ever want to have just a normal Joe to podcast interview, I just feel like it would be fun and interesting. Commander is really the only format I’m interested in, because I like the social aspect and the politics that get involved. Makes for some intriguing interactions and it’s usually hilarious. If nothing else though, I’d love to play a game of commander with ya!
Rick, is it Oliva or Olivia or whom is this person? Great stuff, love how you hang with your pops. I showed my own dad all the uncle teddy vids, he likes the way he rolls lol.
I imagine getting such a gift from What-Z must have sent your spirits Sorin. After this one, how many more spaces on the famous magic player bingo card do you still have left to Markov?
