just a remark - the founder of 7RP (the insert company) has been collecting hermes bags since the 1980s and she says it's wrong to lay them flat in the hope of them not getting misshaped. Gravity will pull it down towards the back when it lays many years. When it stands it might droop too but in the natural not a misshapen way. I think it sounded reasonable. Also she says storing them in cardboard tends to make the bag adopt a cardboard smell. All the fine bags come in a dustbag for a reason to be able to breathe and not adopt a box's smell.
