Nice review. Somehow this light didn't get the same amount of attention like the Fenix pd 35 lights. I was wondering if you could make a video of the beam in nighttime at a more open area. I'm interested in the throw vs spill of this light. And what are your thoughts of the dual tail switch? Is it prone to accidentally discharge? Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I can make a video of the beam outdoor during the night. I'll do a comparison between my 2 nitecore flashlights outdoor. I'll message you when i post the video. Great suggestion.

Hi there. Unfortunately, I did shoot it, but lost the footage when i was careless with with SD cards and over write it. I do plan to reshoot it and do an re-enactment of how i used it in a self defense setting. Hopefully by end of August.

You can use the p10 v2 it has strobe ready and it fits the thrym switchback 2.0

Hi there. Yes you can. I'm actually using the switchback 2.0 right now. I lost my original P20i with original switchback. Got the version 2.0 for replacement and actually works better.

LOL.. nope. This is the best combo out there. Functional and yet stylish. I've already used this to scare away a potential threat. I just ordered the Nitecore P22R with their version of a ring holder. Going to see how that combo is. Thanks for sharing!

@@Wanucho That's really cool. I didn't realize that. I'm assuming you're in law enforcement? Have you used the P10 scare away any threats? i want to do a video on my experience and wouldn't mind getting other stories.

Why would anyone choose this over the mh12gt model?

Hi there, thanks for watching. Great question.I wanted the P10GT for the strobe ready switch. The mh12GT doesn't have that. The strobe ready switch was a "Must have" in my scenario as i use it as a self defense tool more than a functional light. I've already used the strobe function in a self defense situation 6 months ago. Hope that answer helps.
