My OG copy was stolen, so I have a re-release. Unsure if it's official (I ought to check) but I really do want this version. Great video as always, mate!

Matt, I definitely wanna pick this up. I want the deluxe edition and maybe get a couple variants just because it’s such a good album last time I heard it. I heard it through streaming or I had the CD but now I think it’s time to upgrade the vinyl.

Lamour was a great venue. I saw Manowar there on February 8th, 1985. That was before I even met Gary. HAHAHA Speaking of Gary, we saw Slayer headline at that Montreal Metal Fest on August 27th, 1985 with Metal Church, Exodus, Hallows Eve, and Agent Steel. Good times.

As soon as i saw the preorder for this , I knew I had to have it. I still have the original and yes , the colors are a bit brighter. Show No Mercy is my favorite Slayer album and this boxset didn't disappoint. I guess more early pics would have been nice but thats just me nitpicking. The packaging is classy , very glad I picked it up. With as fast as Metal Blade sold out , I figured it was sold out everywhere by now. Love the video and hearing your thoughts on this record.

Sounds like we took a similar way musical wise in those days. It felt like every month a new band and album put the bar higher, faster, more aggressive, heavier, at least it felt like for a young teenager. I also like the remastered sound of it, not overdone. Especially the booklet is very nice with all the info. Enjoy your listening sessions with it. This one increased my hope for a anniversary verison of Hell Awaits, my Slayer favourite release.

Would have been nice if they would have included both posters separately.

Slayer "Show No Mercy" album Actually hit the Streets /Dropped in April or May of 1983~N0T December 1983, lol 😆 I don't know WH0 supplied that incorrect Slayer information!?? ~"Ask Me H0W I Know"!?? ~"I Was There" I had initially heard the Slayer debut "Show No Mercy" Songs "Die By the Sword" & "Black Magic" on the Los Angeles area Late Saturday Night Mighty Metal Shop" Radio Program on 94.7 KMET in March or April 1983, and the KMET DJ pointed out they were from nearby Huntington Park and the New Metal Blade Records Debut album would be hitting the Local Record Store in a couple weeks at the time! I had Usually Recorded the Mighty Metal Shop Broadcast Directly onto High Bias Blank Cassette Tapes and I was Seriously Hooked on this then New Slayer Band~🤘"Die By The Sword" and "Black Magic" Slayer Songs from that Moment forward🤘

Do the record companies not know colored vinyl sounds inferior to black, or do they just count on us not knowing? It's a great collectible, but if someone who is an audiophile is getting these vinyl releases to actually listen to, they've been had with the colors.

I ordered it directly from metalblade and i dont have the COOL metalblade stocker like the one you have in the box ....fu..k 😢😅

It’s actually really nice. But with that price i might be hesitant cuz i already own that record. Now If they eventually do this for Seasons in the Abyss I would definitely buy it, because that’s my favorite Slayer album.
