I have been very tempted to buy this radio. I think it’s biggest selling point is performance. I think I’d like to see Qodosen do a slightly more upscale version with a larger enclosure with a bigger and better sounding speaker. The DX-286 is so tiny, maybe too tiny.

The MW (AM) capabilities are incredible when used outdoors with the whip antenna and built in 20 db amplifier. Being a lifelong AM Dxer, this radio is pure magic, surpassing my CCrane EP Pro!

Hopefully this radio has a stellar S/N ratio, sharp selectivity, and awesome image rejection. Otherwise, it's way overpriced .
