Thank you for sharing this walkthrough! I bought a lot of decks on a Japanese auction site and these cards were among the items, but no box, no booklet, a few of the pips and courts missing - I couldn't identify the producer / publisher until I found your video.

I never connected with the strength of the Visconti Sforza, until recently. If you look closer at their eyes, they are actually looking at the same target in unison, hence working together. Loved the walk through! Thanks for sharing :)

I enjoyed this mail opening very much! I'm so happy for you! I have also experienced this excitement and joy with certain decks in the mail! And on the low note also got a much waited for "signed" limited NEW deck with a card missing and my anticipated joy was horror and disappointment...this is a grand deck and the size even adds to the awesomeness and unique beauty of this deck! Tall and narrow, so classic looking! Gorgeous color tones and the non pip cards are exquisite art!! Loving how buttery they look, as I know they feel as amazing as you described!! Ooh a Visconti-Sforza deck! How lucky you are to find this great deck. I can literally feel your excitement through the video! I am excited for you! "Restored"?, "Replica?" are these words you are looking for to describe the deck? I love the gold press on the cards. You got an old Thoth deck with 2 extra magician cards? That's an old Thoth deck! Very cool! The only Visconti-Sforza themed deck I own is the Medieval Scapini Tarot but doesn't completely stick to it. Gilding edges would make this deck pop, if you decide to do it.

That is such a phenomenal edition!! I always get so much anxiety when I'm counting to make sure all the cards made it to me :)

What an amazing edition!!! I'm looking for a "cheaper" edition, and I'm very torn between "The Golden Tarot: The Visconti-Sforz​a Deck" or the Lo Scarabeo "Visconti Tarots deck" one... Both have re-drawn cards... Hard choice... But yours is awesome, probably the best out there, witch actual facsimile scans of the real deal!

How do you find the will power wait to open? I was able too from the beginning, but lately I been too excited for my recent decks that a few times I started to open then caught myself so I stopped grabbed my camera & filmed, lol.

What publisher Cuilfaen made these cards? Are these Visconti FORZA VARIANT?

Eeeeeeeeep :D Yours is in a better condition than mine :) I will never read with mine :) This is a display piece and also a reference deck for historical study purposes :) Is the word you are looking for "facsimile"? From what I understand this is the exact copy of the deck as seen in the museum, and it is current (or current in 1976) condition :) so we can see all the peelings and everything :) The collector in me gasped and my heart stopped for a second when you said you are going to gild the edges ... ! LOL This is a collector's item :D But I know you did not buy this for investment purposes... :) (not that I ever do myself tee hee)
