We did BF HoS 3 years ago and it's still one of my favorite years of homeschool. I had a 4th, 5th & 7th grader, with a 1st grader tagging along. Last year my 6tu grader did history of the horse by herself and also loved it. I hope we'll be able to do another BF study.

@@HomegrownHomeschool we are!! Probably not enough depth for older kids, but great for my K & 1st! A lot of watercolor too, so I’m counting it as art 😂

Since our kids do science with their homeschool enrichment program, I don't teach any. However it is always nice to see some of that curriculum and what is some good stuff to work with. 😀

Interesting Science Curriculum books. Might have to look into it

I love your spouse/curriculum analogy. 🙂We've enjoyed Beautiful Feet in the past for history. I love that you can get everything in one box and not have to search around. Appreciate the flip-through. I thought I already subbed to ya but in any event, I did today. 🌻

I love that it’s a Christian curriculum!!! My older daughter also uses masterbooks but she is gifted in science!!! We love both DK books and horrible books!!! We’ve used both horrible science book and horrible history but haven’t used the horrible geography books yet!!! We are yet to go science with my kindergartener!!!

Now that the school year is over, I’m wondering your thoughts. I’m thinking about purchasing this to use with my 5th and 8th grader next year. Would you use recommend and use this again now that the year is over?
@HomegrownHomeschool
@HomegrownHomeschool Год назад
We stopped using it a few lessons in and instead just read some of the books. It was just too much content for my kindergartener but I think I you’re using it with a 5th and 8th grader then it’s perfect! I was just too ambitious trying to use this as our group subject this year. I think if she were maybe 3rd/4th grade then it would have been perfect for us

Are you enjoying this curriculum? I will have a 2nd grader, 4th grader and 6th grader next year and wondering if we could do this together.
@HomegrownHomeschool
@HomegrownHomeschool Год назад
We do like it but it is a little heavy to do with my kindergartener so I’m not following the full lesson plan. I would assume with those ages you’d be ok but you might need to be flexible with your 2nd grader if you find it’s too much. Totally doable as a group subject!
