I have a preference to the software mapping used with the Flydigi controllers, and the only thing I have found remotely ok is the Gamesir x2, but it's just too small for my larger hands. I hope this insight helps with your choice. Much thanks for your comment, question, and your viewership.

I have the T4 Pro, but personally using it for mobile gaming isn't compatible unlike Flydigi controllers. So choose Vader 2 for mobile gaming and pc.

Hi how does this controller now, do you still use it? I heard some chinese controller is good but start facing issues after few weeks..does this also start having issues? Also, how the surface of the controller? Is it grippy matte finish or just hard plastic?
@xyberKnight
@xyberKnight 2 года назад
I primarily use the Apex series 2 controller, but my house mate still uses this one who I gave it to, and has no issues. The back isn't rubber, but has texture for grip. The analog sticks have some wear, but not fallen apart. He primarily uses with PC, and light Genshin Impact mobile use. There haven't been any issues that weren't firmware related, but were fixed after updates released,, which made the controller unresponsive for a couple days. The Game Center software from Flydigi on mobile is the only way that I have ever updated the firmware for the controller. The battery life is still holding the same as it was the day I unboxed it to test. Flydigi usually releases their successor model controllers around 1 year apart. The Apex original, to the Apex series 2 was just under a year, and this Vader 2 was based on a revision of another controller. All of their controllers and products I've used have been very solidly built, and have a good sense of quality to value. I hope this helps, and much thanks for your question, response, interest, and for your viewership.

@xyberKnight
@xyberKnight 2 года назад
From my testing only the Chinese page version of the Flydigi app for windows worked with the firmware that was out of the box before updating on mobile. It allowed being able to utilize the profiles and back buttons. Same way as on mobile, you have control of them only through the Flydigi Game Center app. This is for the Vader 2, however with the Vader 2 Pro(I've not yet tested it, because I use the Gulikit KingKong2 Pro controller for my Switch gameplay docked where it has hall effect magnetic sensors that don't drift, and up to 15 minutes of programmable macro and recording inputs that can be stored. I wish I had a more definitive easier answer. I hope this helps, and much thanks for your question, interest, and for your viewership.

How does this compare to the apex 2 in your use?
@xyberKnight
@xyberKnight 2 года назад
This more compares with design to the Apex original controller in most functions as well. The Apex series 2 is much more versatile with extra buttons , and the mouse pad face button control, and microswitch face buttons. This is solenoid conductive rubber face buttons. As far as PC use, they are similar, but in mobile use is where it stands on. There is a Vader 2 Pro that has Nintendo Switch compatibility as well as iOS use higher than 13.4. Both the Vader 2 and Apex series 2 won't function over iOS 13.4. The cost difference is in the extras included with the Apex 2 having a case, mobile mount/stand, extra analog stick add ons, and braided cable. Both have gyro control use. Cost between currently is $55 to $95. It's just up to you if you see that extra $40 being justified, unless there is a click coupon that can further discount it. I hope this helps, and much thanks for your question, interest, and for your viewership.

From my experience on Android, it acts like the current Home Circle that brings you back to your home screen. I've not tried to utilize it with the PC, but it's programmable pending what software you use it with as it is another key on the controller. @@xyberKnight Please ask me some questions. My main use is to play on PC (Steam and Non-Steam Games) and mainly emulators. 1. Using the USB cable and dongle, is the controller recognized as Xbox360? Can I change this by connecting the controller in Switch mode so that it is recognized on the PC as a Pro Switch controller? 2. Does it work well with emulators that have motion sensor capability like: Cemu, Ryujinx and Yuzu? Today I have an 8BitDo Pro2 the control is excellent, it has a lot of versatility. Can I use it on bluetooth or cable making the PC recognize it as an X360 or Switch Pro controller. And the emulators already recognize it and activate the motion sensors. Basically this is what I would like.
@xyberKnight
@xyberKnight 2 года назад
1. As I can see it detects as an x-input device when USB is connected. I don't believe you can change the device identification type as that would require an alternative or modified driver registered, which I don't bother with such things. 2. It works great on CEMU. I don't use Yuzu or Ryujinx where I don't actively look for or know anything about Switch backups. Regarding your last statement, I'm unsure regarding how to register the motion sensors outside of manual mapping. I don't do as much with emulation these days as I used to. I hope this helps. Much thanks for your response, comment, interest, and for your viewership.
@juniorhxcx9
@juniorhxcx9 2 года назад
@@xyberKnight Hello, friend! Very Thanks! I really like Third Party controls. If you are interested in testing it, you will notice that playing with motion sensor on emulators has better accuracy than on console. Example: When aiming Link's arrow (On Zelda Breath of the Wild), on WiiU using gamepad I notice a slowdown, after playing on the emulator and doing the same action. For Switch games too, in addition to the graphic quality provided by the emulator, the controls are more precise. I recommend testing. Step by step: With the controller already paired in Bluetooth in Switch mode (Recognized on PC as Pro Controller) In the Cemu emulator, you select that you will emulate the Gamepad Control game (the only one with motion sensor on the WiiU). Go to the add option, select the SDL API and then select the available control, it will be Pro Control. Just play. In Ryujinx and Yuzu, it's pretty simple. Select that you want to emulate the Pro Control Switch, in the list of connected controls, select the Pro Control (Vader Control). If necessary, enable the use of motion sensors within the configuration page (usually by default it will already be enabled).

sir can i ask important question? Does the apex extra buttons work at the back works on windows?
@xyberKnight
@xyberKnight 3 года назад
It should be functional through the windows configuration as I connect in USB wireless dongle mode, I can see all buttons accounted for. The main thing is to make sure that your firmware is updated on your controller through the Space Station app that you can use to change the colors and macros input from mobile. I haven't tried this software for PC, as it's not in English for me to understand yet, but it is available for PC from Flydigi's main site. Also, I'm on Windows 10 212H build preview 15, awaiting update script for Windows 11 testing, so I'll provide an update for its compatibility in future comments once it's available. I hope that this helps, and much thanks for your question, comment, and your viewership.

Do you think this controller might be good for competitive games and fps games?
@xyberKnight
@xyberKnight 3 года назад
The buttons are solenoid based so they have some mush to them, but they are responsive. The build quality is good, but I wouldn't consider it professional gamer quality. It's definitely shooting above its price bracket. It should offer some good feel and control for mobile fps, and decent value for PC. I hope this helps, and much thanks for your question and comment.

Compared to xbox one s controller, which one is better in terms of build quality?
@xyberKnight
@xyberKnight 3 года назад
Build quality I would say that the Vader 2 has better weight, as well as functions, but for the bluetooth antenna used, the Vader 2 uses Bluetooth 4.2, while the Xbox One S controller uses Bluetooth 5.0. The Dpad feels better on the Vader 2, but the main thing to remember is this controller doesn't work on the Xbox Series or One consoles, where the One S controller does. This is mainly for Bluetooth usage. I hope this helps to provide a bit of feedback and elaboration for your question, and thanks for your comment.

hello! do you have problems with connecting via Bluetooth on a PC, if there is, tell me whether you have solved it or not, and then I constantly lose connection to Bluetooth
@xyberKnight
@xyberKnight 3 года назад
I don't use bluetooth on PC due to higher latency than over the wired mode for PC. You have to make sure that your USB ports are all set to use Full power, and not power saving mode, in your power options, or it will disconnect. Above that, I never experienced issues, as when I tested it, it stayed connected for around 20 minutes until the controller turned off due to non use in pairing. After I tested it and saw the latency is up to 4ms over bluetooth on PC and as close to zero as can be on USB, I didn't do further than the timeout test. I hope this helps, and much thanks for your question, and viewership.

From my testing, last time a month ago, the Vader 2 and Apex series 2 both worked with PUBG mobile on my one plus 9 pro and redmagic 5S, with every profile. I just tested after the last update for the Flydigi Game Center on the One Plus 9 and it is still working on both. The Apex series 2 offers extra buttons and features that for my use feel better in PUBG mobile. @xyberKnight
@xyberKnight 3 года назад
@@priestCASTS Through the Flydigi game center app on Android, there are profiles that you can utilize for both. However the Apex series 2 and Apex controllers series are the only ones so far that have color feedback for if you are hit or things that would be resulted from vibrations. What I mean by microswitches is there is an audible tactile feedback clicking sound to the face buttons and shoulders, like on a clicky style keyboard, or with those type of switches, opposed to solenoid sensor pad feedback like most cheap controllers, to make sure that you only get 1 input response per press. Both controllers only have digital single press shoulder buttons. However if you prefer a specific color of controller, the Vader 2 comes in black and white variants, while the Apex series 2 only comes in the black. The Apex also as shown in my video has the extra functions that can be utilized with a removeable ring around 3 of the 4 face buttons for the sake of extra precision with mouse like movement. This part is hidden under the left controller handle panel, while the USB wireless dongle is hidden under the right. Additionally the Flydigi Game Center provides holding the Left trigger and enabling motion control for a mappable input augmentation on both Vader 2 and Apex series 2. I hope this is helpful, and much thanks for your comment and question.

If i just game in PC, Better veder 2, Or Sony Dual Sense Controller?
@xyberKnight
@xyberKnight 3 года назад
I would say that depends on if you already have a PS5 to use DualSense controller on PC with or not. If not, with the drift issues of the DualSense, I would sooner pick an Xbox series controller or elite controller over a DualSense. It would also depend on what type of gaming you wish to utilize the controller for on PC. If mostly shooters, In most cases I'd choose the Vader 2 over a DualSense; because the price, the extra functions and features, and the layout and design. I'm not a fan of Sony controllers on PC to start with though. It all for more would be decided on preference. I hope this is helpful, and much thanks for your comment, question, and viewership.

The Vader series is a less feature rich model in design than the APEX series, so for that reason alone, I can see why they don't include it, where the bracket is very well designed, and I would say that the pricing of it would be between $8 to $15 in value which is why it's included with the APEX series 2. It seems like it could potentially be made available separately in the future, where a lot of the design ques and elements of the Vader 2 are essentially from the original APEX controller, with some updates to the button placement and shapes of the extras on the face.
