Your reviews are in depth and detail oriented. Long videos may take a lot longer to make, but perhaps a part 1 and 2 for the more complicated items, like this Joyo? As usual, well done!
Any chance you can run this thru a P.A. to use at gigs? Would like to be able to play and do vocals also, since it has the looper, and drum machine built in. Plus you can add your own backing tracks with the bluetooth .
You can plug it into a P.A. using the the line out, but I can't test it as the amp died about a month after making this video. Also, it doesn't have a looper, just a drum machine 🤔
I am a Joyo fan since buying my California and AC Tone Sounds pedals (these are nothing like sublime Dumble tones, but the Joyo Sound series may literally be the best 40.00 I've spent on gtr stuff). There is LOTS of good competition at this price point, but vids like this, the pedal and the rechargeability made me buy this one. I get it tommorow. TYVM. HF all.
Great review thanks! I just bought it and I love this unit. It's small and loud! So far the only bit I don't like is that it shuts down quite quickly if not in use (5 minutes I think). The only solution is to turn it off and on again. It makes sense when on battery but when plugged to the wall it would be good to have a longer timeout.
Yes, I agree. I didn't have one yet, but i want to buy ASAP. It would be great to have a kind of configurable firmware to update by an app for adjusting stuff like a timeout. If so, it would also be possible to add some drum-patterns (or re-arrange the place of the patterns, until there is no display for it). Maybe in the next version, but I'm too unpatient to wait 😊.
Yes, you can . . I have to mention though that I no longer recommend this amplifier. It broke down about a week after I published this video. I've not heard of anyone else having this issue, but mine went in the bin 🤔
Basically that has nothing to do with the amplifier. If your PHONE or video camera can record the audio and video to edit and post later then you're good to go. 😊
Ive got a katana mini, and I've always been a bit disappointed with it, because they put a stupid delay in it instead of a REVERB I love the look of this
Heya, I just got this amp...Thing is I can't seem to switch between Metal and acoustic channels...:( i can't figure it out..i did how it is shown in the video but still Can you help?
@@guitar-academy no, I mean... When I turn the knob, the sound does change. I even saved the sound I want to "preset" but when I click "preset" on the footswitch, it doesn't change..but when I click "preset" on the amp, it changes between the saved tone and the...current one.. x_x
@@riri3489 Ah . . that's a clearer explanation of what's going on. if you're following the instructions then the sound should change. If I was you I would contact customer support 😒
It's hard to say . . it depends on the environment and if you use electric or acoustic guitars. With an electric guitar and a street with low road traffic it would be fine, but if the traffic is load and/or you use an acoustic guitar it would probably struggle . . For busking the battery life is very good . .
Sorry, the LP really would be horrible to play as a left hander because of the cut away and the position of the knobs and they don't do a left handed LP, just a Strat. 😒 (so far)
@@guitar-academy ok thanks not good news as I am left handed with a Donner LP gathering dust but I want be beat there's a answer to this problem I just got to find it
@@guitar-academy I think the answer is going to be redrilling the bridge and putting up with the buttons and poking amp wire in the arm pit at least then it will hold a tune just need to find out the right measurements for the bridge to be the opposite way
@@guitar-academy I should have said that I do think it sounds amazing for it's size, so stereo would have been a showstopper. It sounds much better than the rest of the small practice amps.
