I use a Muilwakee 1505 for work which has a utility blade and locking screwdriver on it. I pair that with a SOG Powerpint when necessary. The SOG is small and goes in a leather pouch with a O-pen and chapstick where the Muilwakee goes on my hip in a pouch for easy access. Together these two tools have served me well. Let me know if your interested in trying out the SOG Powerpint. I have an extra one that I don't really carry at all.
We have a few of the fastbacks with the drivers floating around the shop and they are pretty slick. I’ve actually always wanted to try a Powerpint! I like a leatherman but carrying it all the time on a belt can be a pain.
I love mine but Wish the driver was locked but when I’ve used it, it wasn’t a problem ( not a lot of torque). I put a magnet in the driver to use with my leatherman tiny ratchet. I also put a thumb tab on the blade (sold on esty for leatherman Wave+) to help with one handed deployment. Another thing is it be nice if the pocket clip was on the scissors side. Other than that it’s pretty sweet tool. See how it turns out for u.
Yeah I don’t mind the blade but I won’t use it unless I’m on my last knife. The driver is okay, but I’m already looking for another but on Amazon. I need a PH2 more than anything.
