Well now, I get the tower unboxed in this video and I will show the grandstand in a video in the near future. I really do like that Scalextric have redone both these pieces of scenery in resin.

MMMH, I have the original and wondered why this new Tower was so pricey - finished building in Resin, that explains it. Now, do I need another?? Do I have room???? Wait for the grandstands un-boxing ...........

I would like to see scalextric make a proper pit lane sensor (not the pit lane game) rather than these buildings that i can make with my 3D printer. Seems like they are taking the easy way out these days.

I have the original since I was a child. Even the time appear to be unchanged on the building clock tower. I like the building but a 1950-60 building does not fit with modern f1 cars

Hi Dave, Yeah you truly slaved on this build, lol. So help my memory - Did the original have working doors ? A second story floor? And did the top separate from the bottom giving you the option of two buildings? Regards, Jack
