When I saw that Best Buy sold out last night at 12 I waited till 8 to check target’s website. When I saw that they weren’t on the website, I drove to the store only to find out that the cards weren’t unboxed yet. Stayed around in target for like five minutes and the employee found some cards at the register and I immediately got them! I got three packs and out of those three packs I got 11 of the 16 new villagers! The absolute LUCK. Nearly screamed when I got Shino.

You have no idea how much i appreciate that you talked about how they’ve sold out and put links in your description to help people find them! No other youtuber i’ve seen has done that, I’ve struggled so hard to find these cards. I got lucky and amazon had one pack left in stock and it came in the other day and i got great villagers! But i wanted to thank you for doing that because it was very considerate ♥️

You are killing it with this update and all that goes long with it. Congrats on being the 1st to stream the early release of 2.0! That is amazing! Thank you for doing marathon streams, for going through the paces and not rushing through all of the new features; doing the research to find out the harder to attain reveals like Brewster; being sensitive to spoiler alerts; listening to what chat wants to see. The thing that makes you outstanding among creators is the fact that you went out this morning and experienced buying the new amiibo cards to bring that information back and then doing the unboxing video. Thank you, thank you for all you do!!!

Fun fact about Frett In the old _old_ games he used to be named Champagne and that's why he was removed and re-made and also change name to Frett.

My best friend went out on her day off and managed to get me the last pack at her target. It had Frett, Dom, Shino, Marlo, Petri, and kicks. I was soooo incredibly happy that she managed to get me even a single pack.

Target opened at 8am. I parked at 8:01. By the time I got to the register, only 3 packs were left with a one pack per person policy. Was hoping for Shino, instead I got Frett, Cyd, Zoe, Petri, and Ione. Orville as my NPC. I'm glad I was able to get a pack and it ended up not being too bad. Happy to see you got the villagers you were looking for.

I ordered 3 packages and also had Shino twice! The sheer luck! (Especially since in Germany you only get 3 cards per pack)

I literally always find so many Sanrio cards at my target so I have my confidence to see them and the other series there too

awe i’m so happy you got all the top ones you were hoping for !!! 😍 you really did luck out with these packs for sure… plus seeing the amount of the brand new villagers in these packes make me really happy to see. i really thought they’d be more spread out / harder to find within the packs. very glad for those who are hoping for specific new villagers ☺️ seems they have a good chance! especially with the doubles/triples of shino & sasha (which have been two of the most highly hoped for villagers) since they were announced. ♥️ i doubt i’ll be able to get my hands on the new amiibos honestly, they never have them where i’m from & i didn’t order online. i’ll probably end up waiting until the NFC codes are available to make my own for the few i want. but anyway just wanted to comment to say how happy i am that you lucked out with getting your tops right off the bat. enjoy pat! gonna watch the re-play of your happy home stream now while i get ready for my back shift ✌🏼 much love to the ACNH fam-- sooo nice to finally see everyone loving the game again, back in spirit & happiness overload within the community. 🧡

Pat, I went to two Targets today with different experiences lol! The first Target would only let people buy 1 (and were almost sold out one box left). The second Target allowed people to buy 3 and they were locked up in the back! I’m happy I got 4 packs, but was blown away by that craziness 😂

Ordered from Wally at 4 this morning and got 8 packs. My Target said one per person so I got my one until the other 8 get here. So jelly of your multiple Sasha's! Good haul 👍🏾

I went to my Target a few minutes after it opened this morning. None were on the shelves. They were in the back and a worker said there is a limit of 5 per person per day, so I bought 5 packs and was super lucky!!! I got every new villager except Azalea and I also got Raymond, Sherb, Dom, Judy, Reneigh, Audie, and Megan.

Would love to see another unboxing of the cards! Sending vibes for Wisp to you. I ordered the whole series (48 cards) from Amazon. They are the mini cards and not “name brand” but I’m ok with that because now I have them all without worry of duplicates. And less than $40.00 for all. And easier to store. So I’m happy and I hope everyone gets theirs that they want.

in Australia, our packs only come with 3 cards! but my friends and I bought a box of 25 packs (from the gamesmen i think?) we haven't opened it yet but I'm so excited!!

I did not know that there were these cards. I was on amazon, when I searched up Animal Crossing Amiibo, and I saw these cards! They looked so cool and wanted to get them instantly. I then came on RU-vid and searched these cards, and I found this great video!!

I went to Target and they only have the labels out with no pack on the shelf. I thought they were sold out at first but asked a staff and he told me they still have them but they are just keeping them behind the counter. They only limit 1 pack per person though. I was hoping for Shino but got Ione, Azelea, Judy and Dom! They are not bad!!

Nice pulls Pat! I went to Target and GameStop at opening, and they had limits of 1 and 2 respectively. My favorites in my 3 packs were Marlo, Quinn, Reneigh, and Tiansheng, but I had a lot of doubles. I was really hoping for Petri, but oh well. I would love to see you open more!

Great pack opening, as a fan of Pokemon cards, use to saying pack opening, lol unboxing just hits a little tick with me, so use to hearing pack opening. Anyways, has me excited, I have some that will be delivered by next week according to what the email from Amazon tells me. I also plan to hit Gamestop when they open today, I checked in with them not too long ago & they said they do have some on the way so here's hoping I can score some packs from them.

I was barely able to get one pack myself. Went to 5 targets, and i think 3 game stops. At one of the targets i finally got one! And i got a lucky pack too, i got Quin, Judy, Sherb, Raymond, Shino, and Tom Nook as the NPC. I'm fortunate enough to get one, but i got some good ones for sure. ❤

Managed to snag 2 packs from Amazon. Got Syd, Sasha, Tiansheng, Audie, Megan and Isabelle. The 2nd pack was pretty much identical with the exception of the NPC card, which was Wardell.

I just got my packs and opened them! Luckily I live next to a GameStop so I arrived just as doors were unlocked! No dupes, all new. Super happy I was able to get 4 packs.

The Target in Santa Fe was a 2 pack per person limit.

The packs you got were amazing. The cards are tricky to get here in Canada but maybe with some luck I’ll find them.

With it being 24/24 for NPC to Villager ratio...... I am seeing a LOT of people get MANY doubles. If you want a full set, you have to buy at least 24 packs in hopes to trade for all the NPCs you need and you'll have like 5 of each Villager (more or less depending on chances). You could have say x5 Raymonds, x5 Sherbs, x5 Shino or even say x10 Raymond who knows, but only 1 of each copy of NPC if you trade your doubles........ there will be a surplus of Raymonds.... but that's maybe Nintendos way of coving for the $100 - $1000 Rayonds being sold online. This set is honestly going to have the most copies of villagers in circulation compared to the ratio of NPC to Villager in the 100 card series.

I wasn’t able to find any where I live. I looked at so many stores. I’m hoping I can find some online to order soon. Definitely do another unboxing!!🧡🧡

Got my cards at Target this morning. Able to get 4 packs and did pretty good. Got 2 of each: Sasha, Ione, Marlo, Ace, and Rio. The other cards were Raymond, Judy, Audie, Dom, Syd, Chabwick, Shino, and Petri. The special NPCs were Kicks, Lottie, Harvey and Wardell. Also got two of Sherb but he is currently on my island. Was my 3rd villager and I didn't want him at first because he had fleas. But, since he was so cute I let him stay. 😂

It's really more common to get duplicates in these packs because of how few villagers are in this series. My brother was able to get to GameStop before it opened and got me five packs. I got the main three I wanted, the able sisters that run the shop, flick, galliver, and lemir!

I was luckily able to get ahold of 6 packs buying in-store (Target and Gamestop). Got there before the stores opened and waited outside. But I got Raymond, Sherb, Sasha, and Shino!!

You're lucky Pat! Target, Walmart and Gamestop didn't have any arrive. Best Buy had them but sold out by the time I got there. I was able to get the last two from another Target tho.

I keep hearing people saying that stores near them have run out but where I live there's like a ton of series 1 to 5 amibo cards and like 20 packs of the Sanrio cards in each store. I just recently went and bought alot of series 2,3 and 5 amibo cards I got some of my favourite villagers such as Ankha, Sasha, Shino, Raymond, Flora and Genji.

I was happy!! Got Raymond, Marlo, Sasha, shino, teingshang, audie, 2x sherb and rest was extra

I am tempted to go buy some, but I learned how to make nft tags so I don't really need them. Maybe one day when I can save up a bit I can buy some to collect.

I stalked all the stores selling them at midnight and they never even went on sale. They just were immediately sold out online and the physical store locations haven't received a shipment because of supply chain. I am very jealous.

Went to Walmart in Danbury ..no idea what I was talking about but several inquires..Target put them on the end cap and 1 lady bought everyone they had. Best Buy was a bust also.4th in line and clueless there also. Bummed.I really tried the stores are close together so it wasn’t the driving part.Treated myself to an Egg McMuffin and called it a day..thanks Pat for the unboxing..
