Hello there! The great wookie chief Gerry is unboxing the core set for Star Wars: Legion from Fantasy Flight Games.
The fiercest unboxer in the parsec has set his sights on the treats of the Star Wars: Legion core set. The box contains forces for the rebel scum and imperial pigdogs, in addition to all the models, there are the measuring sticks, bases and one rulebook to introduce you to the game world of Legion.

This game isn't available in the country I live in so I bought this online new, so was confused by all the little plastic bags for the minis (and not sprues like Games Workshop) so I'm glad I can confirm that is how they are supposed to come lol. Was worried someone had opened it and re-bagged them or something

Uh more Legion stuff soon Sir.. please 8) A few corrections:The "shield tokens" are actually "standby tokens" indicating a unit is waiting for the enemy to get close ;) (the Clone Wars set has introduced shield tokens) Bases: the red is rebels and grey is empire. (See page 3 of rulebook) Attack dice: white, black, red. Red is always the best. The Battle Cards are not optional. There is a randomised action taken by both players before a match where Objective, Deployment and Condition are determined. Now, more planning and typing.... ;)

It's young-user-friendly that all the plastic parts are already cut off from sprues. Kids, don't play with knives :)

wichrun nippers aren't safe either. I dropped mine on my foot and it bled just like if I got shanked by an X-acto.

Not a fan of restic, it cleans up horribly. But, that's the way lots of these companies are going, because the molds are cheap and so is the material.

Gerry it sounds like you drew the short straw and were made to do this unboxing! It's a good game but this set has been out a while - shouldn't have been too hard to do some fact checking before the unboxing
