Yes that would be my consideration as well. Unfortunately, I dont have WE tubes. But I heard old WE are better... But price level also very different.

@@jimmysjunkyard The new graphene coated ones are at 1500 USD with 5 year Warranty . Next year WE say they will be setting up the refurbished Mullard blackburn eq to build the 12ax,ay,at 7s for musical instrument industry . Have been thinking of visiting the WE factory it about 3 hours north of me. Source the absolute sound on utube.

@@johnwilliamson467 I heard the 5Y warranty is like tire "wear & tear"... So it depends on the usage time as well, not sure how they manage to calculate those though...
