Over the top upgrade and electronic art. A real work of art and labour of love & money! I have the TU-8600SVK and looking at upgrading the Bridge Diodes. They are the same as the TU-8900 (RBA-406B x3) I was looking at upgrading to 3x Vishay 100V/4A (629-6437 from RS Components) as they look like they have higher specs & quality. Did you look at better quality Bridge Diodes in the same configuration and if so what ones as I have standard PCB & case. Do you have the part number & supplier of the short gold PC pins you are using as they all look similar online. Dean from Australia 👌

Hi, there are some articles for the 8500 Phono upgrade, C11, C12, C15, C16, IC1 & IC2 part. If I just use the line-in section, should just upgrade C15 & C16 caps? Any other parts need to be upgrade? thanks.
Can I suggest that you need someone to help you edit your videos? An impartial observer would have advised that there is about one minute of content and the rest is padding/repetition. I'm sure there are many people interested in the TU-8900 but posting just for the sake of it will tempt viewers to unsubscribe.
Hello, just keep the existing transformer and put in a voltage doubler on the secondary filiment winding and regulate down to 6.3 volts from there. Cheers Lou
what I have been doing is regulating the dc with a lt3086 so about 10volt secondary and dc at about 13 volts dc regDOWN TO 6.15 VOLT ( ABOUT 95 % ) of center( 6.3) longer life and lower distortion . Very low noise on the heaters elevate 45 volt off ground on the au7 my data so far . Separate transformer for just the heaters will be far less costly a work around . Enjoy the video .

Hi Michael, I guess you need to consult with Ronald directly on this. I recall there is some modification available, but not sure for higher grid voltage... I dont think you can do more than 400V as the capacitor will be the limit? But again best to discuss with Ronald and maybe get V6 😅. Thanks.
