Man, I saw this video and immediately fell in love with the first watch. Then you mentioned Akira, which was already on my watchlist but I was procrastinating about watching it. And so thanks to you I went and watched Akira. I liked it so much that the next day I ordered the GA700BMC-1AER. I am a fan of the retro, cyberpunk and neo tokyo styles and also a fan of synthwave so everything just clicked in place. So glad youtube randomly recommended me this video

G-shocks and Akira! Definitely takes me back to my childhood when I saw my Dad wearing Casio ana-digi watch without a crown.

My biggest problem with G-Shocks is that you can never find one that looks the way you want and has all the features you want.

I've never been much of a watch person but found myself recently interested into them, that's how I came across your channel, and I've really enjoyed your content! One idea, that I think would be awesome to see from you, is a "Fake vs Real" segment or maybe even just a couple of videos on some of the more popular G-shocks or some other watch brands/models.

Bought my GAS100-BMC Neo Tokyo after T3s "10 Things I wish I knew" G shock video mentioned them. Now sad to see that it apparently isn't counted as part of the Neo Tokyo collection.

Looking forward to the individual review videos! I grabbed the first one (GA700BMC-1A) after seeing this video, I'll probably throw it on a black+(red/blue/yellow) NATO strap.

I love G-Shocks but why do they make the LCD screens so difficult to read on some models either because of the reverse LCD screen or they are just too small. I recently got the GA2000 then exchanged it for the GA2100. I found that both had screen s that were difficult to read. The GA2100s screen was next to useless. Great features but if you can't actually use them what the point?

I like the DW5600s and the DW6900s and I have 2 GGB100s GW7900 and one DW6600 with a clear pink band and bezel

I got the GAS-100 Neo Tokyo a few months back. Perfect balance between classy and functional. It has quickly become my favorite watch! Shame that guy didn't send you one.

I’ve got the DW-6900 version in this series and love it. I put it on a version 2 combi bracelet and it looks like it was made for it.. I can recommend trying it if you’re looking to swap out the resin.

Used to hate G-Shocks but decided to get one for my Nephew for this upcoming Christmas (ordering early because of CV) thankfully I found out he thinks there garbage so brought him a Seiko instead for this Christmas. So here I am left with a watch I can't return as there is nothing wrong with it tough Solar GAS-100-1ADR, so I decided to put it on I'm thinking OMG this thing is UGLY AF. Started doing some research on them why they look like they do at there movements and OMG came to the realisation that these things are amazing. They are built this way because of what they have to be designed to endure, and the movements are solid. The price is ridiculously low considering hos heavily they are engineered for reliability and just plain Badass Toughness. So yeah bought a couple more a Square 5600 I think and a GW-3000 which until after I bought it found out it was a sought after model in fact if anyone does want one I got mine at AusWatches new old stock fantastic. Anyway, no matter what people say, I am proud to wear a G-Shock because I know this little beast on my wrist will just built solid AF. ✔✔✔✔✔👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾⌚⌚😁

Actually, Mr Gillis missed the best one from this Neon Tokyo series. The GAS 100 BMC is the most good looking watch out of them all. Not so funky or unorthodox hands with a dark frame.

the ga 700 is a really awesome watch. i actually own that g shock in the regular black variant. cant wait for the review, Jory!

i have the GA-700. my father bought me the 35th anniversary edition with gold back plate and buckle. blacked out dial with white line hands. its beautiful. im not the biggest fan of the oversize design of that watch. The one i own is by far the best looking GA-700 i have seen. but again im not a fan of the huge design, so i never wore it. its like new in the round tin. however i bought a GBA 800 2 years ago. the first Gshock i bought. smaller in design and i love it. similar rigid design as the GA-700 my father bought me! it was just what i wanted as i love that smaller profile. and bluetooth was fun, for a day. However......i just bought my second Gshock! (i do own 3 remeber!) as soon as i saw a GA-2110su!! i fell in love with the Low profile look and still with Ghsock quailty. Khaki Green color. so i had to buy it. i did wait and that was killer. few weeks in i found it on ebay sale half price and now im wearing it! These 3 Gshocks i own are my favorite 3. the only 3 i have owned. the build up to me finding my perfect gshock has been great. i am a lover of watches and do own an Omega Seamaster. Seiko Discovery. TAG 1500 Series (i know i know, i like the look of the 90s ok!) ect... my point is gshock bloody rock. the quality of there watches stand the test of time and Value. I see my self buying their next new profile watch. not just another colour change! Dont buy 3 colours of the same watch guys and girls, come on! :D

I wish they'd made a dw5600 version. I love the color scheme of these watches but have a 6 inch wrist so even the smallest of these is too big for my taste.

Packaging! I have seen a truck load of aggrogate packaged better than that. The tins are full of dents, just as well they where gifted!

And others slow back with one second every four days , can you tell me pls what’s the problem ? I just got my 1st G-Shock, the GA-140bmc. Cool watch but the digital displays are unusable at 1200 and 0630 times. I thought there was a way to get the hands out of the way? Anyone else have this problem.
